Foxbreeze followed him into the trees. She thought she saw a vole, but realized it was just a pinecone. Oh well, next time. she thought.

Blueberrypaw was grumbly as usual and he picked his way through the forest. Why did he always have to be sent to the territory to hunt without Blueshine? He scrambled up a tree the tom wanted to be alone. He went on a thick branch and wrapped his tail around the branch. His grey fur shimmered from the reflection of the snow in the moonlight. His eyes adjusted to the night as he smiled and relaxed on the branch. He heard a crack from above him as he saw a thin branch fall to the ground past his branch. He looked to silverpelt wondering if StarClan was there at all.

A blue russian molly by the name of Waterpaw walked out of the camp right behind Blueberrypaw on her way to take a walk well away from her clans camp. She heard a noise and looked up to see a tree branch fall and hit the ground. Waterpaw saw him in the tree and wondered why in the world he was up there. "How's the view up there? Is it nice?", she called. She stayed well away from the tree in case another branch decided to fall.

A Molly’s sudden voice startled him and he almost fell off his branch but he looked down to see the Russian Blue cat Waterpaw standing below him. “Um yeah. Did you want to come up?” Blueberrypaw asked still regaining his breath. The cats right eye looked at her while his left lazy eye looked toward the trees. “I’ve always loved silverpelt but,is StarClan real? I don’t think that they would let horrible things happen if it was.” Blueberrypaw meowed narrowing his eyes toward silverpelt. His tail pointed toward Waterpaw and he asked. “You’re Waterpaw correct?” He meowed looking toward the apprentice.

Waterpaw jumped, hooking her claws into the bark of the tree. She climbed up and sat beside him. "I don't know. I'm starting to become shakey if it's actually real.", she replied. Waterpaw gave her paw a little lick before drawing it over her ear. "Yes waterpaw's my name. Yours is Blueberrypaw right?", she asked.
