Mudtrot exited the elders den he needed to get out of that stuffy den with the other stuffy elders, plus foxskipper wasn't in the den so why should he? The older Tom looked around the clearing his green eyes scanning the camp in look for foxskipper. Once mudtrot found foxskipper laying on his side and taking a nap on his side, mud trotted over to his mate and laid down next to him giving him a few small loving licks on their head. He could be sweet sometimes.
Somehow, Ivykit's only-sticks-with-family, skittish self has ended up in the clearing.
She just kinda walked out here for a second, and she's immediately regretting it.
She already really wants to go back in the nursery.

Sunny has in fact spotted a target. The small child hops excitedly up from her spot in the clearing (where she always happens to be, the nursery is so booorrrinnnggg), creeping up behind the other kit- but thinking better of it and making a bit of noise to let her know she's coming up behind her. Wouldn't wanna scare her after all! She's learned from experience that some cats can be really jumpy, and usually that doesn't start the conversation well, and she feels bad, and she has to apologize... So yeah. There'll be none of that. She puts on her biggest smile, tail flicking excitedly behind her as she steps up next to the other kid. She'll be more gentle this time. No getting ahead of herself and scaring her off- she can say things later in the conversation, she doesn't need to gush. Nope. Just a... regular 'ol greeting. OOO!! But what if she wants to be besties? What if they become friends forever and ever? What're those called again? Oh, bff's! She's always wanted one of those -like- her whole life! Her smile is almost blinding as her brain brings up this train of thought. Buuuut she takes a deep breath to calm herself, forcing down her excitement, she's told she can be very overwhelming when excited. She doesn't want that, she's gotta remember her mission!
"Hi there, I'm Sunny, who're you?" She asks in the softest tone she can manage, tilting her head to the side.
That's good, very good indeed. She always introduces herself with the shortened version of her name, after all, isn't the 'kit' part a given? It seems a little silly to tell someone something they already know, especially if they know because they're a kit too and have the same last part of their name. Well anywayyy, she's just gonna ignore the fact that she probably looked super weird internally debating with herself earlier. Yup.

The elder opened a single eye to peer at whoever decided to start at his mangled, messy fur onto to unsurprisingly see his mate. "Hey muddy bunny, finally had enough with my mess of a pelt." Foxskipper purred playfully at his partner, shifting to bonk his head lightly against the other feline's shoulder. Though with the opportunity, the elder changed his demeanour to be more serious, dropping his tone to be more private, "Have you been seein' Hivepaw around? I've been worried about 'im since the whole situation with that Ashpaw thing..." Worry for his grandson had the elder's ears flipping back despite himself.

The young tom had suffered from some sort of chest pain overnight, but he had not expected it to result in death by morning. One moment, Poppykit was up pleasantly allowing his attention to drift off through the morning camp, and the next, he found his body twisting, tightening. His death was silent.

☾☽☾☽✿❀✿ she had came out of the dirt place, everywhere felt empty, she was still a...kit...she could be training right now..she sniffs the air and smells a horrid smell, as she pads over to the smell, expecting to find a bad piece of fresh-kill only to find a kit, she wasn't sure who it was...pop..poppy.."oh starclan..." she ran over and shook him, finding he was limp, she began to panic. "no no no-" she backs up and begins to yowl "HELP HELP! HE's NOT MOVING!" she cant help but sob for the kitten she didn't even know, what mattered was he was a kit...a clan mate..."WOLFHAWK! BUMBLESTAR! PLEASE! SOMEONE HELP!" she shook the limp body and began to groom the toms fur, trying her best to bring him back, he felt warm...but he wasn't breathing...his heart beat was gone...why...what happened..."no no...wake up...you...you gotta be a warrior...you gotta be alive...stop being...dead..." she continued to shake the Tom trying to bring him back...but nothing was working...why wouldn't it w o r k?! ✿❀✿☾☽☾☽
