The tom turned to look at Stormdream. "Yup. We're probably gonna die but whatever.." He rolled his eyes as he walked past, flicking the tom on the shoulder with his tail. "If the deputy wants us to go, then I guess we have to." Bramblesnarl narrowed his eyes as he stalked out of the camp. He didn't care at this point, as long as they didn't run into any dogs.

"But how do we stand a chance against dogs," he howled trying not to sound too panicked. "we are a patrol of two cats!" he continued.

Wolfpaw slithered into the clearing with a noticeable scowl on his face, ears back and head low forget border patrols! If I have to listen to in your business apprentices like that thunderclan bramblebrat.....I'd rather be chewed out by Blackberry! his teeth bared at that thought . How dare she even tell me to do that? First I have to be confined within the apprentices den....then she tells me to do that! Why can't people make up their minds !.as if his day wasn't horrible enough his mother caught him walking in and stormed up to him, the black molly had her ears folded back "I thought I sent you border patrolling ! You finished awful quick ." Blackberrypelt meowed as her eyes narrowed .here we go again . Starclan sake doses she ever shut up?

"I started, but an annoying thunderclan apprentice thought I was too close! I was only two apprentice tail lengths away . So I left after we had a small argument . I wasn't gonna take anymore of bramblebrat ." he half snapped which only made Blackberrypelt put her tail on her forehead as she lowered her head "I thought this would teach you something .....but your just...unteachable..... If only Sweetpaw were here she'd set your mind straight ...you can't even go a day without getting into trouble i-" she started but this only enraged the black chausie, his eyes filled with rage "if you love her so much why didn't you hold her back when we were going out that day?! That way my death would be guaranteed ! Why did you decide to even keep us if you hate us so much! Why did you meet Bigwig in the first place!" he growled with his fur bristling . Blackberrypelt s eyes were now filled with fury as she growled "I was different back then ! I was young And stupid . he was a lovely tom. But , the clan would only give me foxdung if I brought him in with me. Then I had you two when I left him. I couldn't leave kits alone to be Fox food. But then I remembered you were half loner.....I remembered how some clan cats treated half blooded felines . I mourned your sisters death...just as you did. I'm still mourning we both are. She was the better of you two. " she explained but then closed her eyes "now...your just...just..unruly . A..." she struggled to say .


Wolfpaw soon began to feel scared but he was still angered "what ? You didn't have trouble saying it before ! Yes I'm a mistake . You should have left me to die all those years ago and kept her instead !" he yelled and slashed at her face which caused her to whimper and back up "i.." she began but Wolfpaw didn't even bother he just whirled around and ran to the farthest part of the clearing and layed there with his paws over his head. And began to fall apart inside faster than before .

From the opposite end of the clearing, Fawnpaw was stretched atop a sunny patch of reeds that he'd made for himself as he rested his muscles that were sore from doing camp chores. In a bit, he imagined he'd have to resume his duties but was relaxed for now, spread out and soaking in the heat of greenleaf that shined upon the Clan. It promised better days, and he was glad that everything seemed at peace. Well, mostly at peace — he realized, sitting up in mild alarm as he began to hear a commotion nearby between an apprentice he recognized vaguely as Wolfpaw, and a she-cat he didn't know at all. His curiosity drew him closer within earshot to understand what they were saying, ears flicking forward and tilting. A little questionable on the ethics, but it didn't bother him as it was passable under a search for knowledge and wondering if they would need intervention in breaking up what was quickly escalating into a verbal argument. It was heated, callous, and it made him worry for both involved. However, it seemed to be a personal matter that pertained to family, so he was hesitant to get involved in fear of encroaching on their business. They likely didn't want to contend with a nosy apprentice who didn't know boundaries when it came to information-seeking anyway.

Although he was about to back off, Fawnpaw whirled around again as he heard an actual physical confrontation erupt between the two. Panic pierced him as he saw the tom lash out with a slash, and he quickly approached with big, concerned eyes that were on Blackberrypelt. "Um, sorry, but are you okay?" he asked with a glance over his shoulder at Wolfpaw, stomach churning uneasily. "If… if you're hurt, maybe you should see Shiverpetal." And as for the perpetrator, he wasn't sure what to say but felt worried for what seemed like an angry soul trapped in an apprentice's body. "And if this happens a lot," he went on, quieter in uncertainty and hoping Wolfpaw wouldn't come bat at him next, "you might want to take it up with Fallenstar or Lionstorm. I don't think they would approve of… clanmates fighting each other, no matter the reason or relation to each other." From how she'd reacted, Fawnpaw assumed Blackberrypelt was the victim of aggression and not the aggressor, the latter something he'd have to address shortly since he saw Wolfpaw had scurried to the other side of camp.

Perhaps… he should go over and see if he was okay, or try to get the broader story. Or it could've been one of those things that his intrusion would only worsen, as it seemed to deal with sensitive subjects from the snippets he'd heard.

Or lionstorm? however she only twitched her nose and narrowed her eyes slightly at what fawnpaw said and swished her tail before giving a cross tail flick "it's just a scratch , It'll heal. " Blackberrypelt answered before twitching her whiskers "and I know how to raise my son. There's no need for that ,yet. If a good banishment for six moons is what he needs , or something more drastic to get it through his head ,I will speak with them. Don't worry . " she meowed giving him a small smile "now if you'd excuse me , also just be careful .....he's ...had a rough time....." she warned before heading off into the territory to hunt.
Wolfpaw however from his side of the clearing spotted the two talking which only made him glare at them what could they be planning .... his fur bristled once more before standing up with his tail swishing slowly . Not taking his eyes off of Fawnpaw as they held a look of suspicion .

Fawnpaw's jaw set at her dismissive attitude, torn between being mildly offended and genuinely unsure of her mental state when she didn't appear to comprehend the gravity of the circumstances. "Okay..." he reluctantly agreed, skeptical. "I guess if you actually have it under control." But being swatted at pointed more toward aggression and poor parenting, but he didn't blame her, not when he didn't know everything that'd culminated to this moment. "Well, I don't know about banishment..." he started, but it didn't matter since she was already padding away toward the territory, leaving a stunned Fawnpaw to simply stare at her departure until she'd disappeared through the reeds. What a strange interaction.

Although he was about to move on with his day and pass this off as an odd incident, Fawnpaw's fur prickled as he felt the gaze of another upon him, swallowing thickly at the sudden discomfort that spread throughout him. Peering over his shoulder, he nearly jumped out of his skin when he realized Wolfpaw was staring with a profound intensity that kept his fur raised. "Oh, hey," he said carefully, pawing at the dirt, "Can I help you with something? Sorry... I didn't really mean to get in the middle of this."

Koipaw was slightly traumatized. Yes, traumatized that was what she was. The riverclan camp looked huge for the just apprenticed molly and with all that was going on she just felt like breaking down. Like sitting down and sticking her head in the sand. Or it would be river here, wouldn't it. She sniffed slightly disgruntled. She didn't like it here, she really didn't and stretched out her legs all of them fine, except for the limp that she would always suffer on her right front leg. Couldn't she just be normal? No no no. She was gonna have a mental break down right in the middle of the clearing around both clans. No. She wouldn't. She would be normal. She would be normal. She would be normal. It was like a chant in Koipaw's head.

The mainly ginger molly stretched out her legs again and sighed. Her fur was matted, the white parts completely brown and the orange parts had gone brown too. It was only her mainly black head that remained clear of mud and small scratches from the long journey from Skyclan to Riverclan. She still couldn't see how she would integrate, she would learn to swim for starclan's sake. Skyclan cats don't swim! It was obvious that she would drown with her long and thick tortoiseshell fur. Finally deciding that maybe the clearing wasn't the best place to be having a mental breakdown at and she stood up and limped towards where she had seen the other new apprentices had sat down. She wasn't comfortable enough to want to be around the riverclan cats. Who she apparently was cursed to be around as when she wasn't looking she managed to bump into a large grey tom that she had seen before... wait wasn't this guy the one who had been assigned as her mentor? How come she didn't know his name. Looking up at the large tom she asked, "Who are you?"

I don't think it'd be a good idea for me to be involved anyway," he admitted with a wary frown crossing his muzzle, "but you might not want to attack anyone like that. Look, I don't know what's going on with you and her, but maybe... violence isn't a resolution." But because he wasn't intending on preaching his own peaceful ways, Fawnpaw was willing to heed his request and keep his nose from their family drama. After a couple seconds of an uncomfortable quiet, Fawnpaw shuffled his weight and added, "You can go back to what you were doing, I won't stay in your fur. I'll see you around?" It was his attempt at backing off to demonstrate that he was serious about his promise to keep himself removed from his personal relationships.

My mother is stronger than you think, where you do think I got that from?" he meowed with a small mixed in growl before giving a smile " atleast you've been paying attention , yes. " he confirmed with a clear praise , it was tiring having to introduce himself to minnow brained felines or atleast to him...the only one he didn't think was minnow brained was Littlepaw but as you can see and or guess they're apart so he couldn't spend time with him "thanks, yours is....fitting . And I've seen you around with lionstorm that's how I know , it makes you popular that way you know? Now that your acquaintances or possibly friends with the deputy ." he meowed with a calmer swish of his tail but he also added in a warning tone while mentioning the deputy .

His head tilted at what fawn said next which only made him smirk his name definetly fits him, and is he ....trying to brave ? How cute.....kinda reminds me of Littlepaw .... that's when his heart sank don't think about that right now ..now he's just ...an acquaintance . Yes , nothing more. he just gave a reluctant nod at the little what to him sounded like small lecture , like he was gonna do anything another apprentice was gonna tell him to do . it's the answer in my world. Atleast they leave me alone when I resort to it. his eyebrow raised at what Fawnpaw said next this only made him snort "I said personal little - I mean....Fawnpaw ...., Anything else is fine with me. Jaw tightening, he wasn't sure he agreed with lashing out with claws under many circumstances and still hadn't been given enough details to justify this, which Wolfpaw had made clear wouldn't be happening. "I guess?" he said, shrugging as he settled on that. Fawnpaw's head snapped up, flattered and lightly giddy when Wolfpaw complimented his name, said it was fitting. "Yeah, it's... I know it's kind of silly, but my dad goes by Buckfrost now. So... he thought that Fawn would be a cute name for his kit." After realizing he was rambling a bit, Fawnpaw's ears tilted back in slight embarrassment as he peered at his backside. "Or did you mean the spots?"

When Lionstorm's name arose in conversation, he faltered and blinked at Wolfpaw. "Honestly, I... don't know about that," he said at last and cleared his throat. It was weird to think about, being considered popular -- it made him feel like he was under the magnifying glass of the Clan more than he already feared.

"Yeah," he said evenly, not quite sure of what else he would do, "maybe? Because... well, you sort of attacked your mother and then you basically threatened me or something." That warning still wasn't entirely unambiguous, but he hadn't been about to question it since it seemed important to Wolfpaw. Suppressing a sigh, Fawnpaw attempted to excuse himself by politely meowing, "It just doesn't really seem like a good time, y'know? For example, you, uh, might want a moment by yourself to think because that confrontation with your mom seemed a little... intense." That was the best word he could think of before trailing off awkwardly, trying to brainstorm ways to solve the issue of boredom that Wolfpaw mentioned. "Oh, if you're bored, I think I saw a couple dens that might need expanding with the SkyClan cats coming if you need something to do."
