Thistlestep almost had to laugh at that. What was with these outsiders and these similar questions? The Clans weren't that cryptic!

"A lot harder than outsider life, that's for sure." He stopped beside her, craning his head to look at her. "Here, I'll walk you out and we can talk. If you have any specific question, I'll do my best to answer it-- but the sooner you're out of RiverClan territory the less likely we'll be confronted by someone else."

“Ok but how are you guys able to go in the water I haven’t seen any cat be able to do it could you explain?” She wanted to find out and see if this cat could teach her

"It's walk and talk, not walk and stand." Thistlestep flicked his tail to encourage her to start walking back toward the border. "It's called swimming. We have trained to master movements in water, but it's not for every cat, and not every spot in the water is safe to swim in."

“Swimming well guess I know what swimming is now but why are some areas not ok to swim in?”she began walking with the cat a little bit scared that her brecken would see her over here talking to a cat

"It depends on the water.." Thistlestep glanced at her, noticing how her body seemed to tense. "If it's a river and the water is fast moving, avoid going in it. Those are rapids and the current is too strong for any cat to swim in it, and it'll kill you. Some waters.. they're usually the Twoleg ones, the ones by their plant fields, they look calm on the surface, but cats that go in get sucked in by hidden currents. And the ocean? Never safe to actually swim in it. Don't go beyond the shoreline. I lost my apprentice-- the fool she was, to the current when it pulled her in."

“Oh well sorry for bringing it up” as Luna was talking she picked up the sent of breken she quickly looked around but didn’t see him but she tried to act clam so the cat wouldn’t see that something was wrong with her

"Why are you sorry?" If she thought Thistlestep liked Violetpaw, she'd be wrong. "It's a relief. One less idiot in this world."

This she-cat was giving him some weird vibes, and Thistlestep was glad he was getting her out of his territory. "Anything else?"

“Well form what I heard when you lose apprentice it makes some cats feel well guilty” Luna could smell breken but she didn’t see him she hoped that the cat didn’t think something was odd about her

"Anyone who feels guilty over the death of their apprentice shouldn't. Apprentices are.." Where did he even begin? "They're immature and reckless, usually. Death comes to them because they lack sense and refuse to listen to their seniors. Grieving for them is a waste of time." There were very few apprentices Thistlestep liked in RiverClan, and that probably wouldn't change.

“Wow that’s a lot to take in I have never heard someone say that” from what she got from breken he said that depends on who you get and how well you get along
