Luna? Thistlestep was glad he was right about her being an outsider-- he couldn't imagine a cat with that name in the Clans!

"I hope it's not on my side of the border." It was meant to be a light joke, but it held some seriousness-- some cats would shred her pelt over stepping across the boundary.

Waving his tail, he headed back home-- relieved to not be involved in the loner drama again.

Recognizing her mistake the apprentice blushed with embarrassment, He must think that I'm a cotton head. Shaking away the thoughts Shimmeringpaw continued to follow her mentor still with her tail up high with pride. Stopping for a moment she shifted the fresh snow laid on the mount and dug away the dirt. The ground was cold and hard like a stone but the squirrel's dead body somehow still clung to warmth, only a little. Piling the snow back into the hole the molly shifted the vole to where she carried it by the tail along with the squirrel tail too. Then followed Goldencloud back to camp.

Hawktalon loped along behind Thistlestep, mind wandering to all of the new tricks he could try.

He could see it in his mind; he would run around behind a prickly bush, and block the way he came. Then he'd cry for help, and lo and behold, another Riverclan warrior came running through the thorns, all bloodied up for nothing!

Hawktalon was unable to hold back his snort of laughter.

Breezewhisker led them deep into the territory, pausing once she came to a large stone embedded in the earth. She flicked her tail at it. "You two go off hunting. If you need me, just holler; I'll be over as soon as I can. Once you're done, come back here, ok?"

Goosepaw nodded towards her, than looked back at Shimmeringpaw, smile turning brighter. "I've been hunting for myself since I was six moons old," he told her proudly. "I know what I'm doing, so if you need help - not saying you do! - I'll be glad to assist!"

Her heart dropped at the mention of hunting, thinking back to her training with her mentor the paw knew she would make a fool of herself in front of him and possibly Breezewhisker too. Gulping and nodding Shimmeringpaw followed the two forcing herself to not run away in fear. Anxiety clawed itself into her heart, her mind trying to find any excuse to get out of the situation but at last, she couldn't keep a straight thought. "Y-yeah thanks." The silver and white molly somehow managed to speak to Goosepaw.

Twilightheart crept through the reeds her long silky fur soaked, she could smell Thistlestep the scent getting stronger and stronger each step. The she-cat stopped to taste the air it was.. different not Thistlestep. She sprinted through the reeds and pounced missing her target she yowled "where is he!?". @Shimm

Shimmeringpaw screamed and jumped back from the molly who tried to jump on her. "BREEZEWHISKER! GOOSEPAWWWW!" For some reason the apprentice couldn't move it was like her paws here stuck to the ground. Ears flat against her head and heart pounding. The world seemed like it zoomed in on her, a tsunami of anxiety and fear broke loose. Her baby blue eyes now tearing up while her breaths came short and heavy. Her chest heaving in and out as her eyes took in the she-cat. The paw tried to shrink back, making herself seem smaller and maybe if Starclan was on her side she could say this was a nightmare and wake next to her brother warm and safe and sound.

Twilightheart swiped at the scent "where is he!!" she yowled louder. She turned and charged towards the cat swiping her teeth bared. @Shimm

Her whickers twitched as she looked up at her mentor. She wanted to believe it but wasn't sure she could. Maybe it was just her over thinking everything. "If you say so..." "Right," Eagleflight replied with a nod, wanting to be understanding as much as possible. Riverpaw did seem quite shaken up. Honestly, he wanted to change the subject just as much. "Let's go for a hunt now, shall we?"
