Crowtail didn't speak for the rest of the way to the Shadowclan territory. He didn't dare to look back to see if she were following, knowing that she most likely was right there. He could hear her footsteps behind him. The tom sniffed the air, but only scented Shadowclan. They were too close to the entrance to find any prey.

Icestar walked in silence next to her deputy, keeping her senses alert for anything of note. This time of year, prey was a little less diverse. There were barely any frogs, and most of the small mammals were underground for the season, so she had to keep her ears perked for birds or things beneath the snow.
It wasn't long before she spotted a cardinal perched on the bare branch of a birch tree. She dropped into a silent crouch and padded carefully forward, moving with a surprising amount of grace for a cat her size. Hunting was the only thing she was this careful about. Once close enough, she leapt, clearing the branch in a powerful leap and bringing the bird down with her. She dispatched it and buried it under some snow.
"Measly little thing, but it will do," She commented idly to her hunting partner.

" Well that's very considerate of you"She said smiling and Sat down grooming her dappled pelt. Then there was a hiss but not that of a cat. DawnFlight stood up to find the source it was coming from a crack in the cave floor. There was a snake slithering across the ground. The sound of its rattle filled the cave. DawnFlight was confused she had never seen a snake that looked like that before.

"shoot" he said diving in front of her just as the snake jumped at her, it bit him on his leg as he went and tore it off ending its life as quick as it came."that was close" he said lightly limping over to his nest, grabbing some moss he placed it on his leg to help expel the poison, one trick he learned from talking to there medicine cat.

DawnFlight ran to Shadowclaw's side " Should we get you to Shadestripe it looks really bad" she said worry for his health written all over her face. @caswshay617

"oh don't worry" he said looking as the venom comes out" no little snake is going to come in my place try to (attack my girl) and get away with it" he said with a huff getting up and licking her ear" i will always be tougher than some stupid snake" he said smiling

he smiled at her happy of her sweetness, "well then i wont, but would you like to join me, it gets chilly in the cave and i want you to be warm and well rested" he said laughing as she became red once again

he waits for her to lay down then he wraps his tail around her and puffs up his chest so it covers her" will you be my mate" he says before he realizes what he just said
