The she-kit bounded into the den, coming to a lower pace as she approached the Elders. "Can one of you tell me a stowy?" she asked.

Bluekit turned around and headed inside the nursery. He poked his head out of the entrance. What had happened? Bluekit was really scared.

Bluekit nodded. "Just don't get him in any trouble or get him hurt when you hang out with him ok?" Bluekit mewed.

Stonenettle dropped his mouse on the prey pile before approaching Buckstar to give his report.

"Things went fine. Tried to teach Lightningpaw how to hunt at Sunkissed Creek - turns out he isn't that great, but hey, he's just starting out, so I didn't really expect any different." He shrugged. He'd expected things to go a little bit better - seriously, who toppled over while trying a hunter's crouch? "Managed to catch a mouse before... something?? started crashing through the bushes. Couldn't figure out exactly what it was, but whatever it was, it was huge. Definitely not something I wanted to stick around and mess with."

With that done, he slunk off to the warriors' den to take a nap.

Buckstar hurried out into the clearing as soon as his name was called, and the sight that greeted him was neither expected nor welcome. He froze, eyes flying wide, at the mess of a cat that had collapsed in the snow, and the kit that had wandered near. He dashed forward to block Bluekit's [ @Fierceclaw ] path and line of sight, hissing a quiet, "Get back!"

StarClan save them. First Lionblaze and his apprentice had been attacked, and now those stars-damned mutts had murdered two of his warriors. He sank his claws into the snow, grief and anger forming stones in his stomach. His warriors were not those awful creatures' food or playthings.

"Lightningstrike [ @Cobra ], back up." His tone came off as sharp as he carefully approached the fallen warrior. No, there was no saving Bluetooth - the poor tom was already dead.

He grit his teeth, closed his eyes, and bowed his head, uttering a silent prayer to StarClan before straightening up again. "Stay back, all of you! There's nothing we can do for him. He's already gone."

Gravelblaze, Driftsong, Bluetooth, Redclaw... how many more warriors was ThunderClan going to lose this leaf-bare?

Robinwhisker trotted back into camp with Sunripple at her side, ready to deposit her prey in the freshkill pile. Despite thinking her prey was a bit small, she was always happy to help feed her clanmates.
Excited to be back home, she was completely blindsided by the meows of anguish and fear. Warriors of all ages were starting to gather, Buckstar blocking a young kit from... a fallen clanmate?! Nononononoononono... this can't happen again!
Is that... Bluetooth? Her calico fur bristled in fear at the state his body was in. This was not a death from another cat. What did this to him?. She looked at Sunripple in wordless shock, her heart aching for her clanmate.
"What happened to him?" she cried, barely able to look at the bloodstained warrior.

dustsong sighed looking at the cat. How cold this happen?
She looked at the blood trail and then meowed quietly

I bet that leads to the creek— and the thing that harmed him.

Was it a dog or a shadowclan warrior? She had no idea but was a bit frighten from it her fur standing up.

Sunripple stood frozen, his prey still hanging from his mouth. The sight of a dead warrior was not one he had seen in such a long time. "I don't know..." He muttered under his breath as he looked at it, trying to figure out what had happened. If their leader was here, it must be important. "Do you know this warrior Robinwhisker? Or, should I say did." Sunripple said, whispering that last part to himself. If Robinwhisker knew this warrior that would be even worse. This couldn't have been something good from the start.

"Not well... but..." She swallowed, not sure what to do now. Buckstar was going to send out patrols to catch the killer, right? She wanted to call out to her leader now, but taking in his hunched form she could tell he was just as lost as she was. Her stomach churned. "But he didn't deserve to go out this way. No cat does." She looked at Sunripple, eyes searching for an answer she knew he didn't have.

"You're right. No cat deserves this." Sunripple looked at the blood-stained body then back at Robinwhisker. He honestly didn't know whether to keep marching back towards the camp or to stay here in case whatever had killed this cat decided to return. He felt his body go still, almost limp, as he just sat looking back and forth between Robinwhisker and the body.

Jaypaw walked out he smelled blood I-it’s back? No no no... he said, he looked around for lionblaze hoping he wasn’t gone to lionblaze! he yelled thinking back when they where attacked
