Boneclaw's eyes dulled as Mirekit's attention was drawn to her crying sister. Lame. A yawn crept up on him, encouraging the warrior to stretch away the boredom. Why did cats even bother to have kits if they didn't encourage dauntless warrior spirit? Tssk tsk.
When Dawnstar continued with the meeting, the warrior's gaze snapped at her in disbelief, ears plastered against his head and long claws shoved into the frozen earth beneath him. His body was still, but the irritation practically steamed off him from the cold. What a joke ShadowClan was becoming. His own blood couldn't seem to keep themself together. Soon they'll grow soft like the other Clans and be seen as vulnerable...and Boneclaw didn't want that. He was still proud to call himself a ShadowClan Warrior, which meant he had to play his part in making sure these apprentices got their training and the Clan was kept in shape. He may not have earned an apprentice this meeting, that wouldn't stop him from lending a paw when needed.
While his Clanmates chanted the new named apprentices, he stayed quiet, lost in thought on how to help ShadowClan become a stronger nation. Dawnstar will need all the help she can get, not just from the Enforcers.
Rosecloud mewed out a "congrats" to the new apprentices. Her ears flatten at Dawnstar's words. The clan really was a mess wasn't it. No matter, soon, hopefully, the clan will become better then ever.

He had a new mentor!! But what had happened to Icebeam..? Albatrosspaw jumped up and looked around for Petalrot. "Petalrot?" He asked into the crowd, hoping his mentor would show up right away.
@FrostyGalaxy
Petalrot
~<>~
28 moons || bug/bug’s || ShadowClan Warrior slim tortoiseshell w/ white tuxedo markings; green eyes
Bug's ear flicked as bug was assigned an apprentice. Petalrot hadn't taken an apprentice yet, and honestly, bug was a little worried that whoever bug's apprentice was wouldn't like bug that much considering bug never was at the forefront of things, but this one, Albatrosspaw, seemed probably ok with bug. At least he had some amount of training already.
"Uh, hi there," Petalrot greeted, finding the apprentice in the crowd, bug's tail swaying somewhat awkwardly behind bug as bug bent forward to touch noses as was customary. Dawnstar spoke over the new mentors and apprentices greeting each other, her tone frustrated and icy as ever, but this time inwardly rather than outwardly. Not surprising. All she said was true. What did surprise Petalrot was hearing what happened to the now former deputy. So, ShadowClan remained without a deputy for the narrow future? Hopefully this wouldn't cause problems for them, but Dawnstar was strong and they had a good band of enforcers, so Petalrot wasn't too worried.
"How far along are you in your training?" Bug asked Albatrosspaw in a low murmur, so as not to disturb the rest of the cats at the meeting or accidentally speak over bug's leader.

Hearing her new mentor´s call, Bluepaw´s ears perked up. Her blue gaze searched the clearing for a moment before it reached the brown molly.
Getting to her paws, the blue-gray-and-white apprentice bounded over to Bearskull. Maybe she´d get in more training with her new mentor than she had with Creekstep.
Though Bluepaw had liked Creekstep, he had stopped taking her out for training.
Bluepaw lifted her head and touched noses with Bearskull, accepting the brown warrior as her new mentor.

The newly named Meadowpaw's eyes widen in surprise, Dawnstar's her mentor?! This is what she was telling Turtlepaw about! She'd been fantasizing about being trained by the leader, the best in the clan! Maybe, just maybe, one day she'll become the leader. But first she'll have to prove herself, to her clan and to her mentor, she'll train so hard! Meadowpaw nods when Dawnstar speaks to her, training should start soon then? She loves her life.
Hmmm. Interesting. Shrewstep had noticed a distinct lack of deputy around, and apparently wasn´t the only one. It would probably be one of the enforcers who took the second in command spot, but that might open up a spot within their ranks if he could, say, get an apprentice to warriorhood. Or something. Get patrols done, that was basic, he was doing that anyway when he got sent out. Perhaps he could go apprentice hunting more often, drag some of them out of their den for some hunting. Perhaps after the meeting.

"Meadowpaw! Larkpaw!" She called the newly-made apprentices with a solemn tone from her seat at the back of the crowd. It was always good to have new young cats ready to train, but too many of them were regularly being re-mentored because their teachers didn't do their job.
The news of Vulturefang's whereabouts were something interesting at Lynxshade's ears. She narrowed her eyes and looked at the scarred tom being demoted from his rank. Mhh. She knew he had been kinda absent recently, and she wasn't surprised at hearing Dawnstar's decision. No, she had been wondering for a long time now when it would happen. I see Shadowclan's going to be without a deputy for a while. Which is... no good for us. She scratched her chin thoughtfully.
Lastly, this meant that she would take part in creating and organizing patrols along with the other Enforcers. Hawkbite, too. The thought of working so close with him created a sparkle in Lynxshade's chest, an interest she didn't really want to explain to herself.
Sharppaw sighed and looked around for her mentor, her eyes were dull as she felt like she would never be a warrior if she would keep getting mentor reassignments.
