The newly named Meadowpaw's eyes widen in surprise, Dawnstar's her mentor?! This is what she was telling Turtlepaw about! She'd been fantasizing about being trained by the leader, the best in the clan! Maybe, just maybe, one day she'll become the leader. But first she'll have to prove herself, to her clan and to her mentor, she'll train so hard! Meadowpaw nods when Dawnstar speaks to her, training should start soon then? She loves her life.
( Reply to this cause Turtlepaw was VERY excited about this news )
Turtlepaw
Tortoiseshell she-cat with yellow eyes
Turtlepaw weaved past the numerous of cats in her way as she bounded towards Meadowk-…no MeadowPAW! Her head hopefully didn’t bump into the molly's side as she smiled happily. She was so excited she pranced in place, “I’m so happy for you Meadow! Not only being an apprentice but having Dawnstar as a mentor!” She whisperly yelled, her fur fluffed as she squeaked.

WisteriaCresent sat herself down getting comfortable on the harsh earth. Things in ShadowClan had been anything but perfect recently. Icy blue eyes met DawnStar's as she spoke. There seemed to be more and more mentor reassignments, but in fairness, it seemed to have been like that for a long while. Plus she'd only been a warrior for a moon, so she couldn't speak much on the topic.
She looked around at the rest of the clan as they surrounded the Shadowledge, observing the cats with a critical eye. To be honest, there seemed to be more apprentices than warriors, but maybe that was just in looks. As she scanned the crowd, her gaze fell upon DawnStar once more. The leader was rather enormous, wasn't she? WisteriaCrescent hadn't even seen a cat that tall before, and the sight was both impressive and a little intimidating.
Despite her initial reservations, WisteriaCrescent found herself drawn to DawnStar's presence. She kept her soft gaze on the yellow eyes of her leader, listening intently to every word that was spoken. The idea of remaining without a deputy seemed a little weird to the white warrior, but she tried not to dwell on it too much. If she had to make one guess about who it would be, she'd guess it would be one of the Enforcers. They seemed to be ShadowClan's strongest souls, not merely scared of anything.

A pretty, dappled tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat was sitting nearby, her deep amber gaze narrowed with interest.
Vulturefang had been demoted, huh? Alderblossom shrugged. Not surprising. He had, in fact, accepted help from Twolegs - Twolegs - when he could have easily came back to camp and let Lostspark or Mossfreckle tend to him.
The warrior lifted a mottled forepaw and washed it. Perhaps, if she could impress Dawnstar enough, the ShadowClan Leader would appoint her in his place. The tortie´s ears perked up after a moment. Wait. Dawnstar would never choose her and Alderblossom knew that she was more than likely one of the last cats her leader would even consider.
Still, to think about it and imagine being appointed as Deputy? Surely that couldn´t hurt. Alderblossom swiped her tongue across her lips, narrowing her deep amber eyes thoughtfully.
Alderblossom would need to start thinking of suitable punishments for warriors who failed to either join their patrols or fail to report back - just in case Dawnstar appointed her.
Temporary exile is too harsh, The molly tipped her head to the side. I´d only send them into temporary exile if it is - at least - their third punishment. If not, demotion for a moon or two would have to work.
The she-cat jumped when she heard pawsteps, and Alderblossom looked up to see a cat approaching her.
´´Oh, hello,´´ She mewed quietly. Rather awkwardly, too, but she´d fix that.

WisteriaCrescent looked over to the other warrior taking in everything about the other feline before speaking excitedly. ' ' It sure is a shame VultureEye has stepped down, isn't it? I mean he was a good deputy, rather matched DawnStar's energy in my eyes! ' ' She said as she just kept rambling, sometimes she was a little overly friendly. She looked around a bit listing to some of her clanmate's reactions. ' ' Being deputy would be amazing, but quite frankly I'm WAY too young for the role. Also, all the apprentices needing new mentors seems a little crazy, no? ' ' She let herself breathe and composed herself, realizing she was probably being annoying. She glazed her sandpaper tongue over her fluffy white coat with a 'merow'.
The young warrior kept grooming her fur until she realized the tortoiseshell warrior was still there. With an awkward cough, she lifted her head slowly and looked at the feline, icy blue eyes looking glossy in the light. She takes a few moments before speaking again. ' ' Sorry, I'm WisteriaCrescent. I'm a new warrior, and you are? ' ' She asks in a cheerful and lighthearted tone.

´´I´m Alderblossom,´´ The tortie blinked warmly. ´´And yeah, Vulturefang was demoted.´´
The she tipped her head to the side. ´´I agree you´re a little too young, but I´m sure you´ll make a great Deputy, one day.´´
´´You´ll need to have trained an apprentice, though, too. Training apprentices gives you more experience, you know what I mean?´´ Lucky for Alderblossom, she had an apprentice. Turtlepaw.
The molly curled her tail neatly around her paws. ´´You´ll get there one day. I´m sure of it,´´ She meowed, voice friendly and polite. ´´I´ve got an apprentice of my own - Turtlepaw. If you like, you can come with us the next time I take her training. It´s always good to learn new things, especially if you´re wanting to be a mentor one day.´´

Albatrosspaw smiled at bug, touching noses with Petalrot. He had a new mentor already! Did this happen a lot woth other apprentices? Maybe that's why Dawnstar was always pissed off about it. When he heard bug's question, Albatrosspaw spoke excitedly. "I just got done with the territory tour, and a small hunting lesson along the way!
The tom's dark brown fur was slightly ruffed, as he didn't think to clean up before he had come to the meeting. How embarrassing...
@FrostyGalaxy (I'm trying so hard to write bug/bug's for Petalrot's pronouns! I apologize if I write it wrong)

Stagskull had walked into the camp when she heard her name being called. She had a new apprentice already! 'I'll make sure they aren't like my first.' The molly thought as they looked around for Larkpaw, hoping to get their training started right away. Finally, Stagskull spotted a long-furred black tabby with blue eyes. "Hello, Larkpaw." She said to her new apprentice, leaning her head down so they could touch noses. The young molly looked decent enough. 'I'll make a strong warrior out of you.' Stagskull vowed.
When Cryingelk heard his name called for the cats who needed mentors, he was surprised to hear that Dawnstar took over that duty. The tom padded forward and dipped his head like he usually did in front of Dawnstar. He then looked up to touch noses with the mightly molly, as that's what everyone else was doing with their mentors. "Thank you, Dawnstar. I won't let you down." Cryingelk said, looking over to Meadowpaw. Dawnstar's other apprentice. They looked...kind? Maybe he'd finally meet someone new.

Well, that wasn't where he thought this meeting was going to go, but at the same time, he honestly wasn't surprised. His tail tip twitched with annoyance. Hawkbite never had much respect for Vulturefang and now it was clear his intuition wasn't wrong about him. Oh well, on to the next feline.
Perhaps, he'd make a stop by Dawnstar's den to voice his thoughts after this. After all, it seemed she was respecting his opinions more and more lately.
Then the announcement of patrols. Nothing new. Hawkbite was about to step into the limelight with those, but Darkfall had expressed his interest in running them. So be it. The Enforcer had some work to put in to redeem himself. He'd noticed the slacking the last moon or so.
Hawkbite sat quietly, silently agreeing with Dawnstar's annoyance with the clan. He'd noticed it too. This was getting ridiculous.
Sharppaw sighed and looked around for her mentor, her eyes were dull as she felt like she would never be a warrior if she would keep getting mentor reassignments.
As the meeting started, Doeflame was only half paying attention, so she almost missed her name when it came out of the leader's mouth.
Wait, what?
An apprentice, Doeflame realised a moment later. I'm getting an apprentice. The warrior brightened, eyes shining with excitement like she was a new apprentice herself. I'm so young. And immature. I never thought I would be getting an apprentice.
Doeflame looked around for her apprentice and soon spotted her, not as cheerful as she was hoping her to be. Oh well, she'd fix that. "Hey," Doeflame said as she walked towards Sharppaw. "You're Sharppaw, right? I'm Doeflame." Her tail curved upwards in happiness. Sure, she was acting like an overgrown kit, but that was what she was at heart. No point hiding it.

Sharppaw was almost half asleep by the time her mentor came and spoke, her ears flickered as she looked at her mentor with neutral eyes, she showed no sign of happiness or sadness. The brown smoked mackerel glared at her mentor before replying,” yes I’m Sharppaw” she began in a mature voice, her ears flicking intently as she continued on”Hi Doeflame, when will begin training?” she asked with a flick of her tail following cllosely behind her word.
It was bad enough her first mentor did nothing to train her but it could be worse if Doeflame was as lazy as all other ridiculous trained warriors, and plus if her mentor was lazy like her first ,enter she could always give Doeflame a good bat on the head with her paw, though she could have done that with the first mentor. Doeflame was energetic though so Sharppaw could see no reason to use her paw to bat the warrior on the head, her tail curled around her disabled useless leg, despite the opposite traits of there personality Sharppaw could see they might be able to get the training and assessment done if they kept going out everyday.
