Okay. He was having an okay day. An average day. In her expert opinion, average was good. Average was very good. Better than cats dying in the middle of the clearing (which she had been told about by an older cat) and not skipping around the clearing stupidly good. In the middle. Middle was good, in her unpopular opinion. But maybe she was biased towards no death and no happy go-lucky idiots, so her opinion may not be so expert after all.

Quickly deciphering his next question, she shrugged. "it's an okay day. I've been a bit bored, but other than that, it's fine. How old are you?" She asked, to get an idea of the age difference between them.

autumnkit... honestly wasn't sure. he knew he was on the older side, but it would still be a while till he became an apprentice (a moon or so.) it's not like he had any parents to tell him exactly how old he was. autumnkit just showed up one day, and no one bothered to question it. there were already so many other kits in the camp, he had no trouble waltzing in from... well, somewhere else, apparently.

he drew one scratch on the ground, then pointed to the shadowledge in the camp. one moon until apprenticeship. he pointed at her once again, asking willowkit the same question.

(that tangent about willowkit and averages was very funny! she's a cute cat. but irl, autumnkit can become an apprentice in late march.)
