Barkfuzz had sat down anxiously at Lionstorm's call, his lashing tail giving away his anticipation. All this work was tiring him out, but he knew it needed to be done no matter how desperately he wanted to just curl up in his nest and sleep away the rest of leafbare.

He glanced around the clearing, scanning for any familiar faces.

Reedkit tumbled out of the nursery. What was going on? Did something happen? Then, he thought of something that made him way too excited. Maybe Lionstorm would make him an apprentice finally?! Wait... Lionstorm wasn't leader, though. What was going on?

Silvercreek sat at the entrance of the elders' den, let out and interested grunt. It was strange seeing Lionstorm on the Streamstone once more, but not unwelcomed, especially now.

Toadpounce sat in the clearing, looking up at the former leader. He was acting leader, now? Well, he had been leader before, so he could do well in keeping the Clan together before choosing an actual leader. Nonetheless, he wondered what was going on.

Blizzardsky padded over, this was it, this was his moment, in a short while Lionstorm or Snakepaw would be announcing that they have chosen a leader and that the leader was going to be him. He was going to Blizzardstar, leader of Riverclan, he had thought long and hard about who he’d pick as his deputy and he’d come to only two choices, Goosefury and Berryscorch, they’d both make really great deputies for him, but first he had to be patient and await the announcement of him being leader.

Mistpaw nodded. If the medicine cat could promise everything was fine then obviously it was. But Snakepaws lack of prickliness slightly bothered her. She knew that he was very passionate about his job even though he didn't seem to enjoy the company of some of his clan mates. "Thank you Snakepaw", she said with a nod. She was glad that nothing was exactly wrong so she sat back down, licking her paw and dragging it over her ear instead of flexing bit into the ground as she had previously been doing.

Whitepaw went to the streamstone, boring... although, Sootstar and Stormcall weren't there, which made this a bit of a delight.

Featherbreeze silently hoped for an update on what happened to all of the high-ranks besides Snakepaw. It wasn't usual for all of them to just disappear like that, for something that drastic something horrible must have happened.

"I'm not sure but maybe a fee promotion too for some cats. But I am not lionstoem so I am not sure." She mews in response to Featherbreeze
