Wait. Is this Riverpaw?
He knew there was a blind apprentice in the clan, which he usually wouldn't take note of, but now he would need to figure out how to respond to a cat who couldn't see his regular paw motions. Oh no...
He bumped his head against her paw, confirming where he was. It would be a little awkward to run off now, since she might think he was purposefully ignoring her questions.

--the kit didn't answer her questions, instead now bumping their head into her paw. there they were; it was useful – perhaps it was on purpose? or maybe they just liked bumping into things. either way, riverpaw purred. “can you talk?” perhaps this kitten was young, and didn't know how to speak yet. or perhaps they simply couldn't speak, akin to how she simply couldn't see. it truly was nothing to be ashamed of; merely a challenge for them to beat. “if you can't talk, shake your head. i'll be able to feel your whiskers moving.”

she just had to hope he could hear, too.

Autumnkit was fairly surprised. Riverpaw seemed to pick up on that fast... He shook his head, fluffy black and red fur getting even more messy.
Remembering what he came over here to do (being a nuisance,) Autumnkit thought he should get back on track, so he grinned and licked her paw. Eheheh.

--she had, in fact, always been one to catch on quickly. quite academically smart, though she didn't wish to hunt or fight. however, how could anyone be a warrior if they did not partake in the usual warrior duties? her thoughts derailed quickly, though a small shake of a head followed by a raspy tongue swiping against her paw drew her back to life. “ew!” she chuckled, aiming to wipe her paw along the kitten's fur. “gross!” she'd ask why he did that, but there'd clearly be no answer.
The mostly white she-kit was slightly apprehensive as she watched a younger kit miss the mossball over and over again. Maybe a moon younger than her, but decidedly less worrisome and cynical. A small trace of amusement was in her yellow hues as the little kit catches after it, before eventually tossing it into a bush. A bush that was literally bigger than the kit.
Shadekit watched as the little one tried to retrieve it, becoming more and more annoyed when she couldn't. She was like Seedkit, always playing and getting into predicaments like this.
Her expressions slightly soured anyway, as it did unconsciously, before turning to Mousekit, whom she had promised to eat some food with. "Should we go help her?"
Happy, half prancing, half hopping steps clearly displayed the gray tom's giddy mood as he walked besides his Auntie Shader. Or just Shader. Calling her Auntie was... admittedly a bit strange, even for Mousekit. Besides, if all went to plan, he would steal her away and convince Sunsetthorn to adopt her and and, they could be siblings instead, yes yes yes. Mum was much better than Stinkyshadow, as far as Mousekit was concerned. And she would never think Shader was a disturbance, nope. So, just Shader was fine for now!
Turning to the white furred molly - he had to ask her what she wanted to eat, by golly, just to see if she liked the best of snacks... which was obviously frogs - the monochrome kit's green gaze grew momentarily confused, seeing the sour expression on her face. Gasp! Had she guessed what he was going to ask and she hated frogs?! Oh noooo! Friendship ruined before it could even start! Well... okay, maybe not ruined. But but... then Mousekit wouldn't be able to share frogs with Shader, and be forced to eat them all himself. Wait... why was he complaining about this? This was awesome! Best thing that could have happened, yes yes yes! Shader was the best!
The young tom almost drooling at the thought of a delicious frog was brought out of his reverie by Shader's question, making him shake his head quickly as he regained focus, first on her, then on whoever Shader was talking about? Flicking one rounded ear as he tilted his head to get a better look at the black and white kit, the tom's whiskers twitched for a moment before turning a very, very, utmost seriousness look at his friend. Because! Because. Shader had obviously seen how distressed this younger kit was! Gasp! Tragedy! But then! But then. She had decided to come to the rescue! Because Shader was just like his Auntie Larky. Kind and thoughtful, yes yes yes. Actually... maybe the name Auntie Shader wasn't so far off after all?
"Oh yes yes yes. I think we should, we should. Looks like she lost something, yes? Yes! What if it was important? You are so nice, Shader! Plus plus, we can invite her over to eat with us once we help her! More friends! Victory!" Mousekit mewed with glee, giving a cheerful leap in the air at the proclamation of victory before rushing off to the black and white kit, making sure to not leave his Auntie Shader - nope, that still sounded weird - behind while calling out to their new friend. "Hello hello! How do you do? My name is Mousekit. This is Shader! Pleased to meet you."

| His kitnapping scheme is a reference to a different roleplay - set a bit after this one - where he is trying to turn his "secret" base into a den where he can hide all of Elmshadow's kits and then be a family with them and Hazelkit. It's going to end before it even starts, but he doesn't know that. |
Wrenkit
She/Her
"Eeurmph!" Despite all her reaching, Wrenkit's toy would not near. But maybe there was another way. She had to grow up any second now, right? That was how growing up worked? But seconds turned into minutes, and Wrenkit did not grow any taller.
Maybe her enemy would be nice enough to hand her toy back to her? Oh yes! Clasping her paws together, the tiny black and white she-kit shut her eyes in some sort of prayer. "Pleasepleaspleaseplease give it back to meeee." She begged, and then cracked open an eye to look upward at the bush big green monster. No toy descended downward. Oh no, what was Wrenkit to do? This was Moonkit's toy! Brow wrinkling with anxiety, a feeling she had never felt before, Wrenkit found herself puzzling over this new crisis.
She didn't need to worry for long, however, because a new voice called out of her. "M-mousekit a-and Shadeeer?" She repeated, pointing at each of them questioningly. Except, Wrenkit pointed wrong. Shader had to be the bouncing grey cat, and Mousekit the white-furred, scowly-face one.
Pointing to herself, the little kitten let out a happy squawk, - having forgotten her former distress - and then proclaimed a very proud; "Wrenny!" That was... her name, right? That was what Moonkit had called her a few days ago, anyway. "I Wrenny! Hello Shadeer and Mosskit!" Okay, so perhaps she had already forgotten the names, and who they belonged to, but that was okay! However, the mention of moss reminded her.. Oh no, her toy! Turning back towards the bush, Wrenkit stretched out her limbs for the object once again, making a quiet straining noise. "Play! Play!"

Autumnkit giggled raspily as she brushed her paw against him, happy with her amused reaction. He head-butted her arm once more, then bounded away before the she-cat got the chance to scold him. Riverpaw's funny, he thought contentedly. Maybe he'd go see her again sometime. No one would mind if he snuck into the apprentice's den... probably.

Vixensnarl quietly padded out of the warriors' den, giving her pelt a shake as she fully exited. It was still quite chilly, much to the Enforcer's displeasure. She wished that new-leaf would come soon, but in the mean time, she would figure out someway to keep warm. Perhaps she could find a sparring partner, or maybe there was an apprentice who wanted training.

Sagepaw peeped out of the apprentice's den, turning his nose up to the sky. It was dark out, and even the moon was hiding behind some clouds. Still, the tom wanted to go have some fun or just do something. His mind wouldn't let him rest yet. He trotted out into the clearing, observing the cats with gleaming eyes full of curiosity. The apprentice was getting a thought, a very familiar and friendly one. Why not bother some cat out in the clearing? Hm, yes. Strike up a conversation. Sagepaw liked that idea and began to look around for a victim friendly cat.

Honeyfeather sat in the clearing, silently observing the clan, hoping something interesting would happen soon. They were longing for some drama or someone to mess up so they could cause some trouble. Even if they were a warrior, it doesnt mean that they couldnt cause some minor trouble for others-

The new restrictions were very annoying to Froststorm, and most-likely everyone else. Not only did it stop him from enjoying a nice quiet walk by himself, but it stopped him from seeing Williowlight. It would be now twice, or three times as hard to get away with it when the Enforcers were on the lookout. It wasn't even like he was doing any harm, he was loyal, one-hundred percent, to ShadowClan and would never give away ShadowClan's secrets. In fact, it might be to ShadowClan's advantage. Willowlight might let something slip, and then... And then he would have to betray her. His mind was battling itself. He wanted to be the best ShadowClan warrior he could be, but he couldn't shake the feeling out of him. Willowlight. The next gathering was just around the corner, he could see her then, after all, that is what gathering were for, meeting cats.
