Greyshade kept low and breathed in deep for a scent as well.

Lightningstrike scurried around after Cherryblossom, looking for scents and sights of prey as well.

It wasnt long before iceclaw scented a squirrels she purred to herself squirrels were her mothers favorite she would catch this one for her she got into a hunter crouch and glided silently towards a bush

Cherryblossom scented a mouse she looked at lightningstrike signaling with her tail wondering if she wanted the first prey or not

Lightningstrike signalled with her own tail, saying Cherryblossom could go ahead.

Iceclaw suddenly pounced into the bush exiting a moment later carrying a decent sized squirrel

Cherryblossom nodded then crouched gliding towards the mouse when she was a couple of tail lengths away she pounced the mouse noticed her last second but it was too late as she landed on it killing it by cracking its spine she looked over at lightningstrike with the mouse in her jaws purring a bit

Lightninstrike purred and trotted over to her sister. "That was awesome!"

"ya i was making sure i wasn't jumpin into a bunch of thorns" iceclaw purred dropping the mouse and kicking dirt and leaves over it to cover it "come on lets find some more i really wanna beat our sisters" she said and started to pad onward tasting the air

cherryblossom purred "thanks" dropping the mouse and covering it "lets keep going and continued to pad on scenting the air

Greyshade tasted the air, and his ears perked up when he caught the scent of vole. He stalked after it, ears and tail low. Once he could see the vole through the grass, he pounced, finishing it swiftly.


Lightningstrike padded alongside her, and halted when she caught a scent. "There's a squirrel! I'll take this one."

She stalked up to the squirrel and pounced. Her landing was a little off, just behind the squirrel which darted toward the tree next to it, but Lightningstrike used the momentum to pounce onto the trunk, taking the squirrel by surprise and finishing it.
