Wolfstreak nodded and left the camp.
He raced out of Shadowclan territory, and all of clan territory. Finnaly in the outskirts, he found a redwood forest. It was very pretty. He didn't see any caves bulid above groud, but he found an old rabbit burrow that seemed promising. He dug it out enough so he could get in. Once insdie it was very damp and dark, but stury and spacious. It would do. There was an open field right outside of the burrow, and an outline of Redwoods around it. Through there was prmising hunting ground, covered in undergrowth and smelling of prey. Wolfstreak began to rub and spray his scent around the field to claim it. He didn't bother to mark the woody hunting grounds around it yet, in case he and Sunlgiht didn't move here.
The sun was setting now and he began to start the long trek home.
Finally back in Shadowclan territory, it was nearly moonhigh. Wolfstreak did a bit of midnight hunting to use as an excuse for being out of camp.
He placed the 2 voles he caught in the prey pile, but brought his frog to Sunlight in the nursery. "I found the perfect place." He murmured to her. "We should leave tonight."

Dawnstar, satisfied that she had put an end to any foolishness, glanced around and scowled to herself. Even though her clan wasn't particularly lacking in kits at the moment, none of them were of age for a ceremony yet. It made her want to change the six moon rule, but she was already partially taking away mentors. She didn't need the queens starting riots because she was forcing the hairballs to become apprentices too soon.

She could see that Eagleclaw's death had rattled a few cats, but honestly, what were they expecting. This was ShadowClan, the most merciless and most ruthless clan of them all. Perhaps with the exception of her mother, the other clan leaders had been far too soft if cats were actually crying over a little blood spill and death. If they wanted to run, so be it, she didn't need spineless wimps tainting ShadowClan. Dawnstar shook her head in disappointment, reforming ShadowClan was going to take a lot of work.

"I'm glad to see that we're clear, those of you who want to flee at the sight of a little blood, go now. ShadowClan doesn't need you and I certainly don't. I mean what I said and I said what I meant, I will usher in a new era for ShadowClan.We are supposed to be the most dangerous warriors, the fiercest and independent clan. We must be ruthlessly willing to do what it takes to protect and strengthen ShadowClan. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that. Are you?" Dawnstar growled as she looked out at her clan.

"There will be no softhearted kittypets here, not under my lead. If you stand in my way I will cut you down, just like Eagleclaw. He was not a clanmate not in my eyes. However, if you stand with me, I will defend and protect you to the best of my abilities. I will give you everything I can offer for ShadowClan. All I want is what is best for ShadowClan, and Eagleclaw was not. Harden your hearts and sharpen your claws, you must remember that we were always mean to be the dark heart of the forest. Forget that and you have no right to call yourself ShadowClan." Dawnstar's passion burned brightly like a wildfire in her voice and eyes. There was no line she wouldn't cross to get what she wanted.

"Apprentices, I want you to start your training immediately, meeting dismissed."

Rabbitear was honestly a bit stunned. She knew that ShadowClan was supposed to be the fiercest and strongest Clan, but how could they be like that if they had a leader who didn't care about almost all of them? Thought they were all worthless? It made her angry. What made a Clan strong was the bonds that kept them together, not hardcore training and severe punishment. It was almost enough to make her fight back, to call out to Dawnstar and tell her she was wrong. But there were cats in this Clan that needed her. She padded off, angry with Dawnstar. But what could she do?

Hazepaw snorted at the cat. His expression and defensive response said otherwise. Whatever. Liars would be liars. She twitched her ears irritably. She hated the word kittypet. The former rogue hated kittypets in general. What kind of cat let themselves live like that? She snarled her agreement quietly.

When the tom returned her question, she snorted again. "If thinking that makes you feel better, then sure," she responded sarcastically. Why would a little blood scare her? That's all they were anyways. Flesh, fur, and blood. She pricked her ears as Dawnstar dismissed them. "Well, nice talking to you," she said, not really meaning it. It had been an interesting meeting, at least more so than the others she attended.

Wolfstreak cursed at Dawnstar silently in his head. Then smirked at the idea of the new life outside of Shadowclan, outside of ALL the clans that was waiting for them. He would go back there everyday until Sunligth was ready to leave and mark the borders, and explore the place.

Hawkclaw was surprised.Did any cat want to leave shadowclan?He was staying.He was born in shadowclan,and will forever be a shadowclan cat.He remembered he wasnt to fazed when Eagleclaw was killed."Don't question your leader,and respect your leader,cause your leader is always right.",he thought in his mind.

Glaremoon stares at Dawnstar in a new light. She was right, we had lost what Shadowclan was. Dawnstar practically embodied what Shadowclan should be.
