The tom tilted his head ever so slightly before nodding. The tom padded over to a tree, picking up a leaf, putting it on the sticky sap that was coming from the tree. He flicked his tail, gesturing to the leaf, "Let's Say the leaf, is the face of your opponent ok?" He said, the black tom unsheathing his claws. Of course, he said no claws in training, but the 'oppononent' was a leaf, there would be no harm done to any feline. "Watch closely." He instructed, he jumped up slightly, reaching the height of the leaf. Then, he brought his paws down on the oppononents 'face', his claws easily shredding through the greenery.

Brightpaw watched intently. She thought the leaf was quite clever, allowing her to see it without anyone getting hurt, and the visual representation helped her to understand what she should be doing. “I’m gonna try again,” she informed him. This time, she thought she was doing it right. Pretty badly—she definitely needed to work on her balance, and it was a clumsy strike—but that should change with practice. She looked up at Addereye, hoping for his approval. I hope I’m not doing it wrong, somehow.

With an approving nod, he spoke up. "Good, you just need to practice your balance and strike a bit." Addereye said, the tom seeming to warm up, finally, to Brightpaw. With a flicker of his tail, he hummed, absent minded for a moment. Gaze fixated on the nothing in particular, "Want to practice it for a bit?"

Tigerslash nodded in reply to the she-cats question as he padded into the territory. Sun made his pelt seem brighter than it usually was, and he scented the air for a moment. "Hopefully there will be some good prey out," he stated, ears angled forward slightly as his gaze flicked towards the territory of his Clan. He could somewhat scent the borders of the other Clans in the distance, which were somewhat faint due to the location of the two cats.

Tansy'Jaw nodded as she spoke softly but quieter then usual, just to make sure she didn't alert the prey."Agreed..".The young she darted her gaze around looking for any sign of prey, as she moved around she made sure to be careful of how loud she was, moving silently.Suddenly she heard a bush rustle not too far from them, she dropped into a crouch as she quietly stalked forward, at just the right moment a squirrel darted out, Tansy'Jaw sprinted after the Squirrel which was fast on its tiny paws, she saw it about to disappear into a hole in the tree but she lurched at the Squirrel and bit hard into it, after a second she felt the creature go limp in her mouth, she padded back over to Tiger'Slash softly placing the freshly killed Squirrel on the ground."Phew! I haven't caught a Squirrel in ages!". She spoke happily, but lowered her voice so that she wouldn't disrupt the forest.

Tigerslash nodded as she approached, the squirrel she'd caught dropping to the ground. He parted his maw, scenting the familiar scent of mouse. His mouth watered. The rodents were somewhat common, but an easy enough catch to start his hunting with and a good source of food for the Clan. His ears swiveled forward and he stalked forward, crouching and seeing a flash of the small rodent. Swiping his tongue over his tongue, he checked the wind so that his scent wouldn't reach his target. He slowly made his way forward, unsheathing his claws as he located the mouse and pounced. His claws glinted in the sunlight as he landed over the small creature and quickly snapped it's neck before it could escape. He grabbed the limp creature by the back of it's neck and padded back over to the she-cat, dropping the mouse beside the squirrel. It was a bit smaller, but it was still rather plump. He swiped the taste of mouse blood from his maw.

We better be careful'.She thought cautiously.

Tigerslash continued forward, trying to spot a flash of whatever creature there was. His ear flicked slightly as he continued forward. His gaze was focused, pupils slit and sharp as he continued forward until the scent became stronger. Hopefully it'd be a bigger piece of prey. His mouth watered at the thought of a big catch, and his heart rate increased at the thought of chasing it down.

Brightpaw flicked her tail happily at his approving nod. “Okay!” she agreed. She tried again, slashing down with her paw, and this time the strike was okay, although she still stumbled. After a few more tries, she managed to do it reasonably well. By that point, she was beginning to get bored of the move, and she considered asking to move on. But she convinced herself to try it a few more times, to be confident in what she was doing. “Is that good?” she asked. “I think I’ve got it.”

“Are you okay?” she asked suddenly, realising that she’d basically been attacking him for quite a while now. “You’re not hurt, or anything?” He had seemed very tired as well, she remembered, with a pang of guilt.
