He grinned a toothy grin and did as she'd instructed as best as he could, though his paws were still clumsy from lack of age and experience as he did it, so it wasn't as fluid and quick as Cherrypaw's, nor as convincing, but a close secvind, even if he did say so himself. I'll get it one day! He thought cheerfully, sweeping the acorn cap out from under himself with a swish of his tail, sending it spinning into Cherrypaw with surprising speed. He lowered his head to show he was sorry and gently licked her foreleg, that being the closest to her shoulder that he could reach, then stepped back, suddenly looking weary and subdued.

Cherrypaw snapped out of her sad revelry as she felt Ravelledkit lick her foreleg with his tiny tongue. She understood at once. "You're sweet, Ravelledkit. Thank you." The apprentice's ears suddenly peeked up as she heard Tigerdawn call for her. Her mentor approached and sat down. "I have to go, little guy. But I'll see you again soon, ok?" said Cherrypaw, touching her nose to the top of the kits head before joining her mentor.

Ravelledkit purred and watched as a warrior started calling for Cherrypaw and nodded at her words, feeling slightly disappointed that Cherrypaw had to go, but he understood the importance of patrols and dipped his head, smiled, then turned about and raced into the nursery, collapsing in his nest and heaving a sigh. Within heartbeats, the tiny cream colored tabby tom was fast asleep, snoring gently in his nest.

Kiwituft poked her head out of the warriors' den, the tuft of fur on her head sticking up, as it usually was, and her eyes bright. She shook scraps of moss from her long, silky red, black and white pelt, padding up to a warrior she recognized as Tigerdawn, and an apprentice who she thought to be Cherrypaw. “Did somebody say patrol?” Kiwituft asked, padding over with the lithe grace of a kittypet, which she had in fact once been, thirteen moons ago. She'd fought for ThunderClan in the battle where the evil leaders were brought down, side by side with a Clan that wasn't even hers, and rescued a ThunderClan apprentice during the fire, and had eventually joined ThunderClan, and was now a warrior. She had sacrificed a great deal to get to where she was now, risked her life countless times, and was proud if what she'd become. She dipped her head to the two and flicked her tail. “Mind if I join you two?” she asked, licking her paw and drawing it over the tufted patch of fur atop her head in a vain attempt to smooth it out, but no luck.

"Of course, Tigerdawn," Cherrypaw meowed standing at attention in front of her mentor. The ginger and white apprentice silent thanked Starclan she'd had the chance to nap earlier today. Her misadventure with Skypaw had kept her out well into the night, and she had just barely escaped Being discovered by Blazingstar. I'll have to talk with him about maybe meeting every two nights. It's hard to keep up with training with less sleep, and I think Tigerdawn is starting to notice.
(Did you RP all that stuff with Kiwituft? Because if you did, I wanna read it. It sounds awesome! She sounds like an action movie hero.
Cherrypaw looked over in surprise as Kiwituft came trotting toward the pair, asking to join them as she did a bit of grooming. Cherrypaw nodded shyly in greeting, feeling a little shy around the warrior. Cherrypaw knew who she was, of course, but had never been on a patrol with her before.

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
[Is all that true?]
Tigerdawn looked at Kiwituft as she approached them. "Oh, sure!" She purred. She licked her paw and drew it over her ear about once or twice, then she padded in a small circle, waiting for the others. Tigerdawn repeatedly flicked her tail, clearly growing impatient. "Is everyone ready?" She meowed as she halted in front of them. Tigerdawn sat down and gave her chest fur a couple of quick licks before looking back up at them. I didn't even think of where to go... She shook her head and meowed. "So… Uh… Where are we going?" She flicked her tail. Why didn't you think of this! She scolded herself.

[ Yeah, it was all rped out. The battle was mostly done in pm though. Here's the fire. Starts there and goes on for some time xD ]
Kiwituft purred happily and nodded, feeling amused rather than annoyed at Tigerdawn's impatient voice, her green hues sparking. She looked around swiftly then focused her gaze on Cherrypaw, who seemed nice, so she settled in next to the young apprentice. “How's training going?” she asked, trying to make small conversation, since she might as well get to know the two cats she was going on patrol with, being that she didn't know very many cats in ThunderClan anymore. Maplefur was missing, and had been her half brother's mate's sister, which had given her a final chance to mke peace with her half brother, but he too had gone missing. She shook her Heda and looked back at Tigerdawn, blinking. “Um... is this a hunting patrol or a border patrol?” Kiwituft asked after a moment, realizing that she had joined without even knowing, noir that it mattered for her anyways, she just needed to go on a patrol of some kind, stretch her legs a bit.

She meowed," It's fun though watching kits play in the fallen leaves that we sweep with out tails into one corner."

“Let’s just hope that Leaf-Bare will be kind on us,” Honeyvenom said, giving the she-cat a warm smile. Although she was still just a young warrior, she’d lived through bad Leaf-Bare’s before. They weren’t pleasant times, despite the fun she’d have playing in the snow. “Oh yes, I remember doing that as a kit,” Honeyvenom said, whiskers twitching in amusement. “It was fun in and amongst the fallen leaves and snow, until I caught a cold that is.”

"At least we'd get rid of a useless cat sooner." He mewed firmly, gazing at her, he wasn't scared at all, and even approached to show it, claws unsheated. "Idiots? At least what I say makes sense, I don't go around testing others to see if they're loyal, we're a clan." He growled, chuckling afterwards. "I guess that's none of your business, like a she-cat I know would say." He mewed, getting really close to her once more, meeting her gaze. "I have every right to insult you... After all, that's what cats that aren't friends do... And if you can't deal with that, the entrance is to your left, so I guess you can leave without any trouble." He said, claws digging the dirt under them. Buzzardpaw was actually enjoying making her mad for some reasons, he just couldn't set his paw on the exact reason.

“Well had I been awake at the time then I would’ve left straight away. And yet you don’t seem to understand that I’m not aware of what’s happening around me while I’m dreaming,” Everpaw said flatly. Slowly, the she-cat was losing the snarky tone. It wasn’t because she was giving up, she was simply growing tired of this problem. She had better things to do than be insulted by a stupid tom. The calico strongly believed that everything the tom said was wrong, and so she was growing tired of having to listen to him. His responses seemed to lower her mood, as most cats didn’t respond in this kind of way. She didn’t like it when this happened and she had the tendency to have a different response of her own. Only occasionally did Everpaw have this kind of a response to this kind of situation, and apparently, this was one of those times. "Well at least we can both be happy when we’re residing in different places,” The apprentice said coldly. The she-cat wasn’t scared or intimidated by the thought of dying. She was daring and determined after all. At his next words, Everpaw stayed quiet. She was getting sick of this. She was angry that the tom had completely ignored her angry remarks. She found it extremely rude how he didn’t acknowledge that his nosiness disturbed her and bothered her. It just wasn’t right. “Don’t you get it? It is rude to stick your nose into the business of others and poke them about it. It is rude to think that insulting me is funny. I may not care much for the feelings of others, but at least I don’t intrude on their private business. But I guess you wouldn’t understand. You don’t see things the way that I do,” Everpaw said, narrowing her eyes. He didn’t understand her, and so she would just have to put up with that. She would have to deal with it like she had with all the other cats who didn’t see things the way she did. Her secret fear of falling in love meant that she was also reluctant to make friends. Even if it was just a friendship, she knew that that could hurt her just as much as love could. She had to be careful with who she made friends with. She couldn’t afford to choose a cat who would later leave her to be alone. No one knew of her fear of friendship and love. Everyone just thought she despised love. And she was happy to keep it that way. "You're wrong about that. Do you ever see Snowstar arguing with the other leaders at the gathering? No. Because even though she isn't their friend, and while she may not like them all, she still strives to respect them enough to not intrude on their private business and be rude!" Everpaw meowed. She wasn't very good at this kind of stuff, since she barely socialised, but she knew enough. "Finally…. Yeah thanks, I’ll be on my way now,” Everpaw said, letting out a loud sigh of relief and acting as if the tom wasn’t there. She was glad that she could finally get away and do something productive. She whipped around and bounded off happily in the direction of the camp entrance. “Thank StarClan I can finally get away from that loser,” She muttered, letting a small broaden on her maw as she left the camp.

My parents had died, and I don't see my siblings often, and now that he was dead, I had no where to go. I had heard rumours of the Clans, so I decided that joining a Clan would be the best options for me and my unborn kits." she explained. "And I was right. Stormstripe looked up at Risingmoon. "So, on a happier note, what do you like to do the most in your spare time?"
|
"I'm so sorry for his loss," Risingmoon said politely, dipping his head. When she mentioned that she had heard of the Clans, the tom wondered where Stormstripe had come from before. Deciding not to press the matter, he heard her change the subject. He subtly tipped his head to the side in thought. "Hm. I never really thought about that before," he conceded, smiling a bit. "I guess i like talking to random cats," he finally told her, with a mrow of amusement. It was true, anyways. "What about you?" He asked in return.

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
A Maine Coon stepped into the clearing, thick fur gleaming in the sunlight as he did so. The weather was still warm, and Ottertail was beginning to almost wish for leaf-fall to come. Or leaf-bare, at least the weather was cooler and his pelt did him some good. Being a larger cat, sometimes the Maine Coon looked the smallest bit intimidating - but all it took to erase fear of him was one smile or laugh from the tom. He hadn't lost his playful spark - not yet, anyways. Some cats just never lost that one thing, and Ottertail was one of them. Settling down in a corner of the clearing where some shade was, the thick-furred feline took a glance around. His green optics sparked with minor interest as they landed on each one of his clanmates. Even as a kit, the tom remembered others being somewhat scared of him - afraid that he would hurt them or something ridiculous along those lines. But, of course, there were also those cats who were about his same size (his siblings, and some of the other Maine Coones in the nursery) who had made him feel a lot better about his own larger body. Stretching out, the feline's head and paws were once again pushed into the sun (though he was already hot, despite the area being shady) and he could feel them heating up more. If only he were smaller, he could fit in one of the small holes in the bushes. Kits used to do that to escape the heat, or especially small warriors - depending on just how claustrophobic they were. But Ottertail had never been able to do that... he'd always escaped to the dens. But, he didn't really feel like spending the heat of the day shut up in a den, and he really did need to go do something - he'd already hunted that morning, getting up early before the real heat hit, so at least he hadn't been sitting around and sleeping all day long.

"Training is going fine," Cherrypaw said, unsure of what else to say and frankly a little distracted by Tigerdawn's movement. She looked at the meager freshkill pile and her stomach rumbled. "I hope hunting patrol," Cherrypaw meowed in answer to Kiwituft's question, "though ever since those two legs started making all that noise, we've hardly seen any prey around." Cherrypaw looked toward her mentor, "Has Snowstar said anything about the lack of prey," she asked Tigerdawn hopefully. Maybe her mentor had heard of their leader suggesting different places in the territory to hunt, or to look out for specific prey.
