Melonpaw felt his paws itch when he saw the interaction of the old blind warrior and his newest apprentice. Well, that was just not right! He bit at the inside of his lip, puffing up as he plucked up the courage to stroll over. "Uh-uh. I can take the-them out to the territory, Cloudydream?" Melonpaw cleared his throat, offering a small smile of reassurance to Aspenpaw.

Fiercepaw was still listening when she felt someone nudge her. She turned her head to the cat. She listened...wait had she just called her little one?! And this was supposed to be her mentor? She didn’t see how this fit into the conversation but she was just mad. Mad at Junipersong for calling her something that her parents had called her before they left.

Junipersong was still smiling. "Oh, Apologies, friend! I did not know that name would be irritating for you. Shall I call you apprentice? Or perhaps just call you friend like I call everyone else" Not at all seeming phased by her apprentice's age or attitude, instead eager to chat and get to know each other. "Is there anything you would like to speak about? I have a few minutes before I must be heading out of the camp to check something." There was a bit of nervousness behind her smile after saying she needed to 'check something'.

I'll take out my apprentice as soon as my head stops hurting, which will be soon, so leave us be, okay?" he snarled, sightless eyes narrowed. The young warrior's tail was lashing in irritation. claws flexing.

An apprentice? Huh. He nodded to the molly beside him, Hello he said in his gritty voice, hence his name. He almost growled at the disinterest in the apprentice's voice. He held himself back, after all, how bad could this ball of fur be? His dilute tortoiseshell fur prickled the slightest bit.

Aspenpaw looked at melon paw I-it’s ok why don’t we get some prey? he asked he wasn’t hungry but didn’t want to deal with this he just wanted to find a corner and sit alone in it be he knew that wouldn’t do any good and neither would this fighting
