Damon caught sight of Angela and narrowed his eyes. He was disappointed to say the least. Why would she make friends with his sister just to make her feel like a freak. He held her closer to make sure she didn’t see her former friend.

Taliyah snuggled into her brother. “Hoodie me.” she said without moving. Damon took off his black hoodie and handed it to his sister, leaving his wings exposed. The moment his wings and horns both hit the light his eyes turned red. “Better?” he asked and she just snuggled deep into the hoodie against her brother. “Can you take the notes? I need a nap.” she asked already falling asleep. “Sure sis.” he said. He adjusted his muscle tea and got out a piece of paper.
