Cathrine looked up suddenly and stopped sketching. She wondered what they were going to do today. She shut her sketchbook and put her pencils in their box.

Mystic looked at Ms. Perky. She got out her supplies then brushed her hair out of her face, wondering what they were doing today.

Magical History

Dust sat down at their desk and took out their laptop. They were trying to organize their desk drawers, but it was a lost cause. Where was the list of students?
They decided they would look for it later. The desks were all in straight line and rows. Seems a little too...orderly for me. I wish I could move the desks into groups, but I don't know the students well enough to know if they'll cause trouble like that.
Dust had a few posters up on the walls with glossaries for their class. They would go over them later. They unpacked their bag and put their laptop on the desk. The surface of the desk was organized for now, but who knows how long that would last.

The Headmistress walked into the Magical history room, room 38A Upstairs. She was holding stacks of paper in her hands, there were a few for Dust, ”Hello, Dust. I have the new schedule for the school year and a copy of the list of you’re students.” The schedule read
Art Class 9AM - 10AM w/ Ms.Perky room 34A Downstairs.
Magic Training 10AM - 11AM W/ All teachers, Downstairs.
Lunch 11AM - 11:35 AM Students go to eat and chat.
Magical history 11:35 AM - 12:30 your class
Language arts 12:30 - 1:30
Normal History 1:30 - 2:30
Chat time / work on homework in class 2:30 - 3:00
Go to dorms/ chat with friends 3:00 - 3:28

She placed the paper on Dust’s desk,
“And here is the extra student list, for attendance. I’ll give you a new one everyday, please fill in the box next to the name, either a check mark if their present or nothing if their absent, put it in the mailbox here.” she pointed to a fancy looking mailbox, it was a new thing this year. It brings the list right down to the headmistress office.

The student list read

Pepper, kat, mystic, Diana, Fay, Bob Lia, and Catherine.
”Your class is soon, let’s hope your ready.”

"Thank you, Ma'am. And yes, I'm ready." Dust looked over the list. Only 8 students? That seemed like a fairly manageable class. Too many students meant not enough time to help everyone and they couldn't help specific students. Too little and it would feel awkward, not to mention it was unlikely the students would be with their friends.
Dust's gears started turning as they thought about ways to make the class unique. Magical History wasn't a terribly interesting class normally, but Dust would be teaching about things that would make these kids heads spin. Nothing about where she grew up, of course, that would be a bit too scary. Cult sacrifices to parallel dimensions might be a little much. "Oh, Headmistress? Do you know what kind of magic the students have? I may need to make accommodations." @Eve

”Well,” she didn’t know the students powers yet, but she did know some common ones from past years, “I don’t really know, they haven’t trained their powers yet. But some common ones are, control or a certain animal, mind reading, and water, fire control.” she tried to be as helpful as she could, “I’ll be sure to tell you once we figure out.”

"Heh, I'm glad there's a fire extinguisher!" Dust said, in reference to the fire control thing. Dust's class wasn't for a while, so they would go around introducing themselves to teachers. They were new to the school and teaching as a whole. They just hoped ghosts wouldn't be terroizing the students, Dust would glitch out. @Eve
