Lightningpaw hardly noticed anything about his partner, aside from the fact that she was here. She heard him! Just Stoneymentor did at the meeting thingy when he became a warr- an apprentice! He was so glad he called out, both of those times. If it weren't for him, he was sure neither of them would've found him. "Hi!" he mewed back, his voice cheerful. "I am! And you've gotta be Forestpaw, right? Because we're gonna compete! It'll be so so so so so so so so so fun!"

Forestpaw smiled easing up a little. Lightningpaw seemed chill nice, and very...energetic...very...very energetic. Still it reminded her of Brightpaw, and she had gotten along well with her sister, so “competing” with this apprentice should be enjoyable for her!
“ Yes, I’m Forestpaw!” The she-cat mewed. After a moment she glanced around. Racing and climbing ey? Forestpaw knew she could climb, and racing seemed fairly easy. Overall this whole exercise seemed like it would turn out pretty fun! After a moment the russet she-cat turned to Lightningpaw and mewed, “ uh...so are you any good at climbing?”, in an attempt to connect with him.

Forestpaw smiled! She had to be nice, if she smiled. Lightningpaw liked nice cats. Nice cats were nice. Thats what made them nice! And she was Forestpaw! He was glad he found his partner so quickly. A few cats probably weren't as lucky.
That question was actually a pretty easy one to answer. "I don't know! I haven't done it! Is it fun? Have you done it? Are you good at it? Do you like rocks?" The gray and white tom wasn't exactly aware of his habit of bombarding cats with questions. It was really just something he did. He liked asking questions. No cats seemed to like to ask him lots, though. So he just answered one at a time. That was all they gave him!

The russet she-cat stared at Lightningpaw for a moment, surprised by the amount of questions he’d asked. “ Uh-uhmm-er....,”, Forestpaw stammered for a moment trying to recall everything he’d asked. The other apprentice had talked to fast, Forestpaw wasn’t sure she caught it all.
“ Uhh, yes, yes, I guess, and yes?” She mewed trying to answer them all in one short go. Hopefully she hadn’t missed any of the questions, that would be a bit embarrassing.

He started bouncing up and down. "You like rocks! You like rocks, you like roooocks!" It was all he had on his mind. All the other cats said no or don't know or something like that when he asked, but she said YES! @ Wolfgirl8
