Samantha nodded. "Alright. We have to walk on foot since the car had broken down." She says and starts walking. Death follows.
The three walk for about 21 miles before finding a town. Samantha raids a gas station for food and looks around for a working car she can hotwire again. "I've been thinking lately, especially when I was sleeping, about maybe trying to cure these things... Is it possible? I don't know."

"I'm fine," Bronwyn said sternly. She stood up, leaning on a bike-rack as she listened to Samantha. "I guess so. I think maybe we should check out what caused the outbreak." She nodded towards a large structure in the distance - the nuclear power plant. It had exploded, sending enormous doses of toxic material into the air. When ingested, it had turned nearly everyone into zombies.
Oddly enough, some were not impacted by the chemical; Bronwyn included.

Samantha rolled her eyes. She glanced over at the power plant, visible in the distance. It took her family and friends and lover away. But she wasn't effected by the blast. She barely escaped her zombie family in the night. She shook her head. Now was not the best time to be thinking that!
She gave a nod. "Sure. We can head there. Want to do that now?"

She walked all the way over, shooting any zombie that came too close. The entire power plant was destroyed...
The area around the plant was nothing but flat land. Any trees or hills were gone. Zombies roamed around a lot. They seemed more stronger around here. The plant inside was dangerous... There were halls that were crumbling still and many things were just... Not safe.
Samantha hated being here. But they had to. If they wanted to find a cure. She found a trapped zombie scientist and looked at some of the things and liquids that survived the blast. "Any ideas?"
