Stonenettle had, admittedly, arrived a bit late, but it seemed he had showed up just in time for the interesting bit. He took a seat near the back of the crowd, watching Glidingfeather's resignation through half-closed eyes. Oh, and Buckstar already had someone else in mind, did he? Curious. One quick glance around the gathered cats made him wonder just exactly who Buckstar was thinking about, because none of these cats seemed like deputy material to him.

Spiderlily was panting, and looking around strangely. It had been a rough night, with almost no sleep. The nightmare would come up every time they tried to think peaceful thoughts. From a nice forest clearing, strait to a dark ravine. Falling into thorns, over and over. As the warrior tried their best to get up, a strange fear kept them stuck to the ground. Whats going on...

Badgerbranch's ears twitched at Tawnypaw. She definitely was bright, energetic... and annoying. Yet his duty was to his Clan, and to make his newfound Clanmates view him in a positive light, he had to prove that he was worthy. The tom straightened, scanning over her with his dark green eyes. At first, he wasn't happy when he found that she didn't need anything. Had she bothered him just for a talk? Then she talked about hunting. Ears perking, Badgerbranch realized that that was something that he could do. Nodding, he meowed, "Alright. I can take you out hunting." He was all serious, and not too soft with the apprentice, although he had to admit, he found her enthusiasm somewhat cute. It didn't show in his face, but maybe a small flash in his eyes - if she'd even notice, anyway. "Come on," he told her. "Let's head out of camp, as to not disturb anybody." He glanced at her, not wanting to leave before she was ready.

He’ll take me to go hunting?! Great! the enthusiastic apprentice thought, not even noticing that he saw that her enthusiasm was cute. Smiling widely, she squealed, following him excitedly. Her adrenaline pounded in her veins, her blue-gray eyes glittering with happiness. “Where will we go first?” She mrrowed, trying her best to keep her excitement down as she looked up at the senior tom. She shouldn’t make herself look like a fool!

Lionpaw watched his leader solemnly. Too many bad things had happened recently. It left him wondering how the other clans were doing. Perhaps the stars were upset with them? If so, they should be clearer about it. The lack of luck, omens and prophecies always caused more trouble than they were worth. Dead cats could manipulate the living easily enough; why not warn them, too?

He noticed a bright apprentice sidling up to him, anf the golden-furred tomcat offered his signature grin. "Hiya!" Lionpaw greeted cheerfully. "Goslingpaw, right?"

Honeypool glared at the highest ranking feline among them, though her smoldering anger wasn't directed at him. Her apprentice better not have done something lizardbrained again. She'd heard his incoherent yowling from the healer's area recently, but decided not to visit should it have an undesired affect on them both.

GoslinPaw nodded, "Mhm! You're...LionPaw?" She mewed, tilting her head slightly. The siamese started lightly wagging her tail once again.

Badgerbranch began to walk forward, seeing that Tawnypaw was ready to continue forward. The tom was actually pretty young - fifteen moons - but he acted older, at least. He had to be as mature as possible to fit in. So that ThunderClan would accept him. Right now, all his attention was focused on two things: Tawnypaw and hunting. His ears pricked a little at her words, and he knew that he was the warrior. It was up to him where they'd hunt.

"Buckstar has warned us to avoid Sunkissed Creek, since the coyotes are lurking there," he meowed, remembering the scene of the bloodied warrior stumbling back into camp. He mentally shook that off. "You're one of the new apprentices, right? How much hunting do you know?" He halted by the camp entrance.

"Yeah, that's me!" Lionpaw confirmed. He listened to the announcements, mood dampening at the negativity around it all. Really, what ThunderClan needed was a field day for them to just chill and coll down. The warriors only rule made sense; it was times like this he wished that he could hurry up and get promoted. He doubted that that would be happening anytime soon. The threat that the coyotes posed was much more important than some silly rank. The abyssinian wondered briefly if it was the same pack as the one that had raved WindClan a while back. Maybe they'd earned a penchant for cat blood...

Boar'tusk let out a tremendous yawn and blinked sleepily, he normally would get up earlier but today he felt even more exhausted. Flicking his tired gaze around the den he caught sight of Spider'lily, who was acting.... Off. Pulling himself up in a sitting position he began to give himself a quick wash. All the while keeping an eye on Spider'lily. Eventually curiosity got the most of him. "Hey u okay?" he asked thoroughly concerned for the she-cat .

GoslinPaw smiled and turned her attention back towards the leader, "Coyotes? I went on a hunting patrol with my mentor and DarkFire and we were attacked by huge snakes! True story." She exaggerated, trying to look cool.

Immediately, the young molly halted, her fur prickling. Oh boy! I don’t know much...what should I do? she thought with some worry, before immediately brightening, looking up with an optimistic smile. “I know the hunter’s crouch! Yes, I am one of the new apprentice’s silly!” She stuck her tongue out at the warrior, smirking before showing him her hunting crouch. She carefully bent down, her tail barely touching the snowy ground. Her paws were itching to run and try to find prey, she was so excited!
