Ripplestep couldn't help the small smile as they left the camp, green-brown eyes flicking over to watch her new apprentice for a moment before turning away to look at the territory around them. "So, what would you like to do first?" The warrior asked, flicking her ears curiously as she patiently waited for an answer.

" great job ! I'm pleased to say your the first I've had a successful hunting session with! " she purred after she set the prey down in front of koi. "that'll be all for today . Unless you want to impress me by doing one on your own?" she suggested "If not we can just hang out...I have nothing better to do..."

Koipaw smiled proudly.
"I think I'm alright," she mumbled. "But I do have a question. When will the river thaw? I WANT TO SWIM AND CATCH ALL THE FISH I CAN!!!" She looked to the ground quickly, embarrassed by her outburst.

She made a face at that shout as she folded her ears back. Only to sigh "I said mid new leaf! ....you need to pay attention..." she meowed .
" ok..could you go put these in the pile? Then we will talk . " she smiled .

Eagleflower nodded to the warrior, smiling. That would be the best plan. That way, Honeypaw would hopefully not notice the body. He didn't want to hide anything, but he also didn't want a half scared to death apprentice on his paws.
"I'll take Eveningpaw back to camp." He confimed, happy the she-cat had asked first. She was a good warrior, and he had faith that she would take care of Honeypaw. "Make sure you keep him distracted, he can get curious." He added quickly, his pelt ruffled nervously. He's have to take a way round the back of the camp so he didn't attract too much attention.
"See you soon." Nodding to Sandwhisker, he picked up the half-frozen apprentice by the scruff, and struggling, galloped off towards the camp.

Fawnsqueak wondered where the best destination for their walk would be since the squirrel had been in the outskirts, a rarity within their own territory. But perhaps toward ThunderClan would be the most suitable area, so he guided their casual trek closer to where their land stopped and the charred forest began. If they had any chance of spotting one, it'd be around there. "Sometimes I think about going back to WindClan," he mused, semi self-conscious after revealing that. "About... going back to do more, I guess. It just... I don't know, doesn't feel like enough." The glimpses of charred brush through the trees had him letting out a breathless laugh, somewhat sad. "I tried to help ThunderClan, uh, forever ago.. like, when this fire happened. I know it's probably dumb, but I'm still kind of hoping the pine trees that I planted spring up soon.."

Sootflare recognized the other tom was guiding towards ThunderClan and followed suit quietly. A sensible choice, given the lack of tree in their own territory. Then again, ThunderClan didn't have much to offer, either. They were still recovering. It felt like everyone was still recovering from something. He nodded along absentmindedly to Fanwsqueak's words. "I think about that too, sometimes. But I don't know how much more we could do." It was hard to swallow, but it was true. What more could a couple of cats do to bring a clan back to its paws? They had given them a start - food to fuel their recovery. The clan would have to do the rest from there. "We've given them the means - they have to make the choice to... reclaim their future, I suppose? Send out patrols and start down the path to regaining strength."

The scent of burnt undergrowth still carried on the breeze, even if it was light. Soot and ash. The aftermath of a terrible event. He smiled ever so gently, "I'm sure they will, in time." A short pause carried a heavy sigh. A few steps in silence. "What drives you Fawnsqueak? To do the things you do. To do good."

Nodding attentively to his command, she took a moment to watch him disappear with the poor limp body. With a brief sigh, she turned to look to Honeypaw in the distance. Very quickly, she galloped to meet him, bowing her head in a greeting, "Eagleflower ran ahead. He told me to walk back to camp with you." She flicked she tabby tail in the direction of the camp, bowing her head gracefully, "Shall we go?" Though she tried to hide it, a sadness and gloom clung in the air.
