Killed them....I managed to defend myself from it but I got this scar in return" she meowed before pointing at the scar on her shoulder. Her eyes grew watery "that's why.....ok?...." she sniffed as she used her tail to clean her eyes "it just....g-gave me flashbacks ...." she added as her head lowered .

Dreamdance's eyes widened at what she said but as she finished he gave her a look of pity and a soft smile as he started to walk back over to her "I can't really relate to what that must've been like and I can tell that you're not the kind of cat that likes to be babied but," He set his tail on her shoulder "If you feel like you need to take a break, maybe get some fresh air then we can continue this later...I'm also here if you want to talk about it but if not that's fine, I won't push you anymore." He looked at the ground for a moment then back at her and attempted to mimic her accent again "But if you want, we can still continue to train."

Maplepaw made her way to the training cave. It had been about a moon since her first mentor disappeared never to return. Passionstar recently appointed a new mentor named Talonfeather, to the fluffy tabby apprentice. Though happy as she was to get back to doing actual apprentice work, she couldn’t help but wonder if it was her fault her mentor disappeared. She had blamed herself for his disappearance severely and it had taken a toll on her good nature.

Finally making it to the cave, Maplepaw sat down and waited for Talonfeather to arrive. While she waited she became lost in her own thoughts. Why would her first mentor just disappear after 2 moons of mentoring her. She just couldn’t wrap her mind around why he would vanish like that. Heaving a sigh she shook her head to clear her thoughts, she wanted a clear head so when Talonfeather made it she could focus.

her orbs went down to look at her paws as he spoke , it still didn't stop the stream of tears from flowing and for sniffles to be unheard. Her heart was heavy and felt like it sunk to the pit of her stomach. "ok....t-thank you ...." she sniffled before blinking away the tears and shaking her head .all I want to do right now...is train.....it'll get my mind off of it she gave her mentor a grateful look and even though they just met burried her face into the other cats fur, in her attempt in what twolegs call would be a hug for a few moments before standing back up and shaking her fur "r-ready mate " she meowed in an more ridiculous version of her accent than her original with wink back as a response to his poor mimicry.

He smiled at her and nodded, taking a few steps back, "You mentioned a back kick right? Well, let's see if you can perform it before I actually show you how." He crouched slightly, moving back his back left leg to steady himself against however much force she would put into the kick. This is actually really fun! He smiled and hoped she would do well with this.

her eyebrows furrowed on him?! she began to feel nervous and gulped "are you sure? What if I hurt you ?" she asked. That's something she didn't want honestly ....it may cause rumours and drama that she didn't want in her life.

He smiled "Oh don't worry about it! Whatever you do, I can take it. Unless," Do I really want to say that? Maybe it'll get her mad but it might also motivate her. "You don't think you're strong enough?" He gave a smirk and braced himself.

she huffed at that "you asked for this " with a that a spark of anger could be seen in her orbs before she smirked back and from where she was she ran at him full speed . She gave herself enough distance to while around and kick upwards this her hind legs as strong as she could ,but she couldve sworn that she felt the bottom of his chin hit her paw pads......then again it could not have and it could have been her imagination . But all in all she hoped he was ok once she finished .

her orbs widened once again when she saw the damage , her ears folded back as her eyebrows furrowed "I'm so sorry! " it was quick and filled with worry and concern . Guess I need to work on my strength more..... she cringed a bit as she saw him move his jaw around ....yeah that's gotta hurt ... "I c-change my mind c-can we try something else?" she asked only to hear a few snickers "awww, the kittypet can't handle training! She'll never handle a real battle " it was that tabby from before which only made her growl as the tabby returned to his own training . He must have came back in while they were in the middle of it."so...what now?" she asked hoping that dream would leave them be.
