Badgerleaf was surprise. He didn't seem very awake-he had heard, right? "It seems a little crazy, doesn't it? The things they just announced?" she said, trying to figure out if he'd heard.
Lionpaw grinned. "Let's get going, then!" he replied cheerfully. It didn't take long for him to decide his next necessary course of action. "First thing's first: the hunter's crouch," the golden-furred feline instructed. "You can't hunt easily if you can't pounce, and it's important to know for battling, too." He swished his tail. "I wanna see what you know already. Crouch—try your best. I'll correct from there."

~Bluekit~
Bluekit pressed himself to the floor, his tail high up in the air and it was twitching. His paws were bunched up together under him and his jaw was touching the ground.
Lionpaw took one look at the pose and smothered some laughter. He wasn't trying to be rude at all; kittens were just adorable when they weren't trying to be. "That's a great start," he encouraged honestly. "Let's start with this: jaw off the ground. You want to try to keep your neck straight—if I place a pebble on your neck, it shouldn't roll off. Same thing for your tail; make your entire body look like one long line."

Bluekit stood up straight and then he positioned himself again. This time, his head was too high and his tail was on the ground. His body was too high, his back almost arched. His ears were perked up straight.
"This time you look like you've seen a badger," Lionpaw commented. He stood taller, looming over the younger kitten. "Let's try this—stand normally. Position your paws just a tad closer than shoulder width apart, then I'll push you down gently. When I do that, don't move your paws, and I'll stop once you're straight, alright?" He paused for Bluekit to place his paws, and for some sort of confirmation after before making move. The apprentice didn't want to surprise his student with the abrupt weight on his back.

"Okay!" Rapidkit's loud voice hid her disappointment well. She wanted to play! But maybe she and Mosskit could go do something else! She had a sudden idea. "We can go to the warrior's den!" @MossFlower123

Bluekit nodded. He relaxed and put his paws like he was standing then placed them a little bit together. He flicked his tail to let Lionpaw know that he was done.
Fizzlekit poked his head inside, not daring to even think about going inside. He wasn't expecting all cats to be as nice as this one and Buckstar. "Nest clean?", he asked. Before even getting an answer he went over and grabbed some fresh moss. "Old gone. New in.", Fizzlekit meowed.
"oh?" Braveheart said grabbing some clean moss as well "thanks fizzlekit! When you're an apprentice, I bet All the elders will love you" he said spitting out the moss
