Re: RiverClan Territory
Out of the tunnels and in fresh air, Buckfrost took his detour to the river and set his mouse down so he could head down the bank without fear of losing it like his mole.
Taking a seat by the water, he was patient as he waited for a fish to pass his way, and when one did, his paw darted in the water and he hooked one, throwing it onto the bank where he killed it. He tried to repeat this a couple of times, with one of them resulting in a complete miss of the fish.
Still, two trouts and a mouse.. wasn't too bad, and he figured it was good enough to take back to camp. Time to end this patrol, thank StarClan. He was getting bored being by himself.

"Yes," Darkpaw mewed, then turned her snout in the direction the scent was strongest. "It's in the trees over there somewhere."

Thistlestep couldn't blame him too much. Sure, he had been one of their worst Clan-mates, but he at least was good at what he did: nothing!
"His scent is heading toward Seastones." Thistlestep spoke as he walked, following the trail through the forest. "Blazepaw's, at least. We can keep an eye out for the others but I'm hoping we'll have luck finding this idiot."

The brown tabby followed Thistlestep dutifully, his nose in the air to sniff alongside the other tom. He caught Blazepaw's scent as well, but also another scent that was covered up by the apprentice's scent. Could it be Mapleflame's? Quailsnap was hoping they would be able to find his brother and Blazepaw on this patrol. Dewfeather as well of course, but Quailsnap was most worried about his brother. The warrior had seemed off lately, and then he had just disappeared....
Shaking his head to clear away his thoughts, Quailsnap hummed in agreement to Thistlestep's words. "Make me worry a little though, with where the scent is headed. Straight for where the coyotes have been spotted. You'd think he could be a little more aware of where he was going."

Leafbreeze kept an eye on Mosspaw as she re-enacted the sounds of various animals, keeping close as to make sure the she-cat didn't stray off the path. Turning to apprentice, she mewed with uneasiness. "Mosspaw, please quiet down a little... I don't want to wake the entire forest." telling off the young cat was a difficult task for her, for she didn't wish to upset her apprentice. Following up by brushing her bushy tail across Mosspaw's face in a playful manner, she sped up her pace in hopes that this plan would get her to move a bit faster.

Re: RiverClan Territory
@The Shadow Flower
"Okay, territory time!"
Sagehawk set out into the territory, eyes bright with renewed optimism. He had to be the best that he could be for Stonepaw! "So, you haven't been out into the territory before, right?" he asked. Just for confirmation. Glancing over at his apprentice, he added, "What do you smell?"
They were headed away from the cliffs—what if one of them fell off?—and instead padding towards the river. Parting his jaws, Sagehawk breathed in the scents. The prey had to have been returning, because the smell of voles and mice were stronger than usual. No predator stench-- thankfully. If he really focused, he could taste the other Clans in the air, though faint.

Re: RiverClan Territory
StonePaw would bounce after him into the territory.
”Actually, I was in the territory before, it was kinda scary then.” She’d look up at him. ”It smells kinda wet,” She’d sniff again “Oh! I smell mouse!” She’d look excitedly around. @ pathos

Surprise gleamed in Sagehawk's eyes. "Really?" Were kits or apprentices even allowed to go out of the camp without a warrior? Hmm. Maybe RiverClan rules were different from SkyClan's.
He grinned at Stonepaw. "Right-- there's a mouse nearby," he meowed. Sagehawk's gaze drifted over to the trailing scent, hidden among the trees nearby. "Do you know which direction it's in?"

Re: RiverClan Territory
StonePaw would scent the air again, it was a bit stronger to the left.
”SageHawk! I think it’s that way! Wait, Sagehawk, I think it’s that way.”
She’d creep forward a bit, excited to try hunting.

Silvershade nodded, taking off to the scent trail. "Squirrels are more difficult to hunt but, that's aokay! You can do it! All you have to do is keep a firm grip on the bark and pretend you're hunting a mouse, " They would begin to explain, approaching closer and closer to the targeted prey. As the two would enter the clearing, Silvershade lower his head-- turning to Darkpaw. "Approach slowly up the tree, if it's risky--back out. I'll climb up the other tree to try to corner it if it tries to escape, " Silvershade mew, ready to climb once Darkpaw prepared herself.

Darkpaw nodded in acknowledgement, trotting up to the first tree; she dug her claws into the bark and began climbing cautiously, remembering to keep a regular hunting stance as she did so.
She spotted the squirrel on one of the larger branches, climbing forward carefully onto it and letting out a small sigh of relief as it held her weight. Then, she quickly pounced on the unsuspecting animal, delivering a swift fatal bite to its neck.
