Linnetwing wished she had never was killed by that rogue. She would have completed his training and he would be a warrior by now. "I know. Has your new mentor been around?" , she asked.

"It's, um, Owlstorm." Sensing she was mad, Brightpaw added quickly, "I think he's just busy, that's all! I probably don't ask him to train me much anyway..."

Linnetwing forced herself to calm down. She knew this Owlstorm. She had started to like him, but now that she know what he was doing all feelings were lost. "You shouldn't have to ask him. He's your mentor.", she meowed. Linnetwing would have to try and bring him to starclan and speak to him.

Linnetwing shook her head. "If I ever do talk to him about it. I promise I'll leave your name out of it. I think he'd listen to me. He was my close friend.", she meowed. The molly gave the top of his head a reassuring lick.

Brightpaw relaxed a bit, then suddenly but uncertainly buried his nose into her chest fur for a moment; he pulled away again just as quickly, squeaking, "S-sorry!"
