Littlepaw wouldlisten s he announced the apprentice me who needed mentors. He had a great training with Pineapple! He did not need a new mentor.

Moonmallow smiled softly as Buckstar assigned Lostpaw- horrible name, really- to her. She stood and approached her new apprentice, neck outstretched just a tiny bit, readied for the ceremonial nose touching between mentor and apprentice.

What? Him, a mentor- already! Cormorantglide’s mouth fell open with shock and he blinked up at Buckstar unbelievingly, a reflexive smile taking over his face as soon as he caught sight of his former mentor’s eager grin. This was incredible! The words that Buckstar used to describe Cormorantglide made the young tom flush with pride and he walked forward confidently.
“Hawkpaw, it’s nice to meet you. I know I’m not your first mentor but I will be your last.”
Cormorantglide smiles down at his apprentice and stooped to touch his nose to the younger cat’s. He was probably even more excited than Hawkpaw and Cormorantglide’s mind already started whirling through plans for training. Judging by the light, they still had time for a lesson after the meeting.
