"You don't get to choose your own punishment, Blackkit. That defeats the purpose of a punishment. My word is final. You're lucky it's only a half moon. Don't you know there are coyotes about? A coyote would eat up a kit like you in one bite." She may not be good with eloquent words, but scaring kits was something Icestar was good at.

She glanced back at Foxpudge, noticing the difficulty he was having.
"Fallenheart, since you're here, why don't you make yourself useful and help out your new clanmate? What is your name, by the way?"

Fallenheart gave a slight dip of his head, then dropped back so that he was walking beside the WindClan cat. "Hello," the warrior said, taking note of the other cat's injury. "How exactly should I be helping you?"

Blackkit dipped his head and looked over to Falconkit, "I think maybe we should stay in camp from not on." he said before a look of defeat camp over his face and he slouched as he walked.

“I’m really sorry Blackkit. You probably don’t want to be friends with me anymore.” Falconkit sadly looked at her feet. She felt really bad for pushing his ceremony back.

Blackkit looked at Falconkit and laughed, "Actually, you're my best friend, I don't mind getting into some trouble if it means hanging out with you." He meowed smiling. Blackkit you do not like Falconkit she is your friend. he thought silently as he watched the beautiful and adorable she-kit. "Now put the pout away I'm starving. When we get back to camp I'll race you to the fresh-kill pile." he joked with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“Best friend? You really think so!” Falconkit was overjoyed! She had a best friend! Then she smirked at his mischievous smile. “Okay, let’s race! You are going to regret the day you challenged me!” She laughed as they continued the walk back to camp.

Ah! Newleaf, a wonderful season. And perhaps Crocusblaze's favorite. The warm springtime sunlight filtered through the evergreen trees in ShadowClan's territory, dappling the peaty ground below his fluffy paws. He was in a particularly good mood that day, his feathery tail waving held up high and confidently as he strolled forward towards his destination, somewhere closer to the border on the opposite end of the Outskirts.

He admired the small shoots of grass and the flowers he was named after finally sprouting out of the earth, and regarded them tenderly. His white chest fur was soaked from the dripping wet moss he had in between his teeth. He had brought this here for a reason, and shook the moss above the brand new flowers to supply them with the water he knew they needed. "There, perfect." He whispered to himself, tossing the moss aside once he was sure he was finished with it. He dragged his barbed tongue across his own shoulder to help rid his mouth of the taste. Moving backwards closer to the edge of the little flowerbed he had taken responsibility over, he settled into a sitting position to just watch life happen. The large grey cat watched the bees buzz about and the birds begin to come back down from the trees and peck about the ground with a gentle wonder in his amber eyes.

His day couldn't be going better, though he fretted some about the situation with WindClan. He thought what Icestar was doing was cruel, but at the moment was not feeling brave enough to outright question the leader of his Clan. Perhaps though, he could stop by the barn all those poor frazzled cats were all stuffed into and bring them a few flowers to brighten their day, or perhaps he could risk some stings and bring them a honeycomb. He knew he'd be more likely to find young kittens or queens in need of comforting or company in ThunderClan but it wouldn't hurt to look in his own territory where he wouldn't be harassed or attacked for trespassing...but maybe he'd check around there, too. Later.

Blackadder stood within the branches of the pine trees, the breezes rustled the small pine leaves around her. She preferred to be up off the ground, her small paws not wet or mud-soaked from the swampy marshes of spring. With a small body, she was agile enough to climbe branch or branch. Blackadder's icey blue eyes caught sight of another cat, her curiosity caught.

She slithered down the tree, bouncing from branch to branch, until she landed directly in front of the other warrior, their muzzle only inches apart. "Crocusblaze," She meowed, her black head tilted to the side. "I couldn't help but notice... you're watering the flowers, why?" Her ears twitched with interest.

"Oh! Hello Blackadder." He beamed, not intending on showing his discomfort as he moved his muzzle back a bit, not enjoying the hot breath of another cat so close to his nose. While not well acquainted to the lithe black cat in front of him, they were around the same age and had been apprenticed during the same time.

"Well, because they need it, of course! When there are more flowers, there are more bees, and birds, and mice all around. It's important for the balance of life and all that to keep every part of the forest healthy," he explained to the cat before him simply, keeping his tone cool. "Plus...I like to watch them grow. All flowers are beautiful while in bloom, and sitting here with them makes me feel at peace with it all," he admitted after a moment of hesitation, but his eyes remained bright.

Her icey eyes flickered from the cat to the flowers and then to the Moss, doing so as she seemed to process what was going on in front of her. Blackadder paused, opening her mouth to say something but not a word left for a solid minute until a single "Oh?" escapes her snout.

"Do the flowers bring you joy, Crocusblaze?" She stood now, slinking around the warrior and his flower patch. Only briefly she pause to sniff the flowers, "Do they benefit you in some way? Is this what you do to feel happy?" Her tone held a purely inquisitive one.
