Re: ThunderClan Training Cave
It was so sickeningly easy to convince such a young a malleable mind, that he almost felt as though he were cheating at his own game. You poor, naive child. he mused to himself, fantasizing lunging forward and crushing the skinny little apprentice’s windpipes under the weight of his paw. The very thought of it made his heart flutter against his chest; the kind of heart flutter any other cat might feel when in the presence of a lover. It took a great deal of willpower to hold himself back, planting his claws firmly in the soil. When the feeling finally subsided, he let out a long, winded sigh and composed himself. Be patient.. We’ll have him eventually.
Goldenshade forced an uncomfortable smile, still anxiously flexing his claws. My impatience will be the death of me.
"Are you now?”
He reached out with a giant paw and held it under Spiderpaw’s chin, then gently lifted it to meet his gaze. His touch was tender and light. It seemed uncharacteristic for a cat of his size.
“Then look me in the eye.. A mentor should be able to see his apprentice’s face more, no?” he purred fondly. Goldenshade pulled away slowly, studying Spiderpaw’s features with intrigue. “I think our leader chose well… don’t you?”
They sent you to your death.
“Can you name the weak spots on a body?”

When Goldenshade brought his paw up underneath his chin, Spiderpaw felt the blood in his veins run ice cold. He felt like a corpse, barely moving, barely breathing... if not for the rapid beat of his heart against his chest, he wouldn't have been able to tell.
"Y-yes." He mumbled in agreement, nodding hesitantly as his amber gaze met Goldenshade's. But what he didn't expect was the next question... weak spots? His former mentor had never taught him anything like that...
"Uhm.. the b-belly, right?" To be honest that was the only one he knew.

She felt her heart flutter slightly after admitting this, although she was really starting to notice how often this feeling happened around the Tom but it wasn't a unwelcoming feeling, she looked at the entrance to the camp giving a small sigh before turning back to the Tom hesitating slightly, she was becoming nervous for some reason but she looked at her paws somewhat as she asked in a somewhat quiet tone although she made sure she was loud enough for TigerSlash to hear."Uhm...Would you feel up to maybe going hunting with me at sunhigh tomorrow? ....It's completely fine if your busy or if you don't want to it's just uh...I just thought maybe it would be fun thing to try considering I don't usually hunt with others...".She realised that what she was saying sounded a bit like a unorganised mess which was unusal for the golden tabby but she finally met eye contact with the Tom, she wasn't sure why but she couldn't help but feel a little sad their conversation had to end today more so she was surprised with herself that she had asked to meet up with him so soon.'Maybe I need a goodnights rest, I really am dense to think he would actually accept something that's so soon after this hang out! Why do I care so much about what he thinks....?'. She asked herself these questions but her mind gave her no response.

(jsjsjs sorry this is so late)
Tigerslash's tail twitched as he continued back to camp. His ear flicked, the tip somewhat hot as she replied to his statement. "I'm glad that you do," he replied, clearing his throat as he glanced towards the sky once again, checking how much time they had before it got too late. He felt a slight flutter in his belly. He shrugged off the thought of them being butterflies. It wasn't an unwelcome feeling, but it wasn't a well-known feeling to the tom. The two entered the camp, and Tansyjaw sighed. She asked if he'd like to go hunting and he smiled slightly. "I'd be glad to," he replied. He tried to keep his posture somewhat relaxed, as the she-cat seemed somewhat nervous. "We should probably part for now, though. It is getting quite late," he said after a minute of silence. "See you tomorrow, Tansyjaw," he dipped his head slightly and padded further into the camp.

Re: ThunderClan Training Cave
Goldenshade burst out into thunderous belts of laughter until his sides began to hurt. "Your mentor really was good for nothing." Spiderpaw amused him. It seemed he'd prove far more entertaining than his last apprentice turned out to be.. The little whelp had been too smart for his own good.
"There are two surefire ways to kill your enemy. The belly is one of them. The throat is my personal favorite. Of course you could also crush their spine.. break their legs.. blind them..drown them... suffocate them.." He cut himself off before he got too carried away and cleared his throat. "Well.. needless to say, there are many different.. uh.. methods."
"The key is not to rely on what you have learned and rather focusing on the situation and using it to your advantage. Your resourcefulness is your greatest ally, not your knowledge."
And then, without warning, Goldenshade lunged forward, slamming his paws into Spiderpaw's shoulders and pinning him to the ground. "Think quickly! A Shadowclan warrior has caught you off guard! What do you do?!" He shouted urgently, motioning lifting a paw to strike him across the throat.

Re: ThunderClan Territory
It took a few moments of running for Appletail to calm herself down and look around ThunderClan's territory. She caught her breath and scented the air, picking up a hint of mouse. She knew she should have checked in with someone before leaving camp, but she also knew everyone else already had their tasks for the day. She decided she'd just hunt for the day and ask for forgiveness later.
She stalked through the undergrowth, half-wishing she had a hunting partner. She spotted the mouse at last and crouched, wiggling her haunches as she prepared to strike.

the female heard crunching footsteps pad along the thunderclan territory and stopped with a paw mid-air, intrigued. she hadn't seen anyone in a while, lost in her curious thoughts as she waited to hear the twitch of a squirrel; she wasn't out in the forest for hunting, though. the warrior began to whisper a hello but halted herself; the cat was probably hunting, and even the slightest sound could send an alert to prey- that, simplefeather knew. ah, scratch that. there are plenty of mice in the forest, simplefeather thought. "hello," she announced in a slightly hesitant tone. After the sound of her voice, the warrior heard a flurry of tiny pawsteps as a mouse ran away from a cat. tensing, simplefeather watched as a mouse dashed for its life. with a burst of adrenaline she followed and spotted a cat; they smelled like thunderclan, that was good. she directed the mouse into the cat's pawsteps, hoping they would get the hint and take the kill. "you're hunting alone?" simplefeather mumbled as the mouse ran in the direction of the cat and she stopped to take a breath.

Gasped and lunged for the mouse as it slipped past her. When it came running and squeaking back toward her, she took only a moment to pause and ponder this strange turn of events before pouncing on it and thanking the stars. That was when she scented another cat. She placed her kill behind her and squared her shoulders, looking around for the other cat.
"Hello? Who goes there?" She asks, trying to keep her voice steady.

"who's going where?" simplefeather replied, walking forward to greet the cat. "the name's simplefeather, and yours?" she inquired after introducing herself, tilting her head curiously.simplefeather looked over the stranger's shoulders, looking for the mouse whom she assumed was dead, but not seeing it over the cat's figure. perhaps the mouse had gotten away. it better not of. i spent ENERGY on that thing! my precious energy! simplefeather thought, shaking to clear her mind and stop herself from getting distracted. "did you get the mouse?" she questioned with a passive yet slightly irritated smile; if the answer was no, she would be pretty mad. her tail flailed around subconsciously and she dug her paws into the soft grass, waiting for a reply. every now and then simplefeather glanced at the sky with her golden amber eyes to check the time, all the while keeping her calm smile.

Gave an inquisitive yet irritated twitch of her whiskers. "Who's asking?" She said with perhaps a bit too much hostility. It occurred to her that this cat, Simplefeather, likely helped her catch the mouse. She stepped aside for just long enough to reveal the mouse's limp, still warm body behind her, before blocking the way again. "This is ThunderClan prey, of course."
(Sorry, I looked on your character website and couldn't find out if Simplefeather is a thunderclan cat. I tried to keep my dialogue abstract just in case she is. Also, I may be going to bed soon.)

(yeah sorry my character sites aren't really organized, i need to update them, but she is a tc cat. also kk! in that case, goodnight soon)
simplefeather rolled her eyes casually but responded. "simplefeather's asking. and it's the clan's prey, yes, that's true," she replied. nodding in approval at the sight of the mouse, she pressed on with her questions. "you're hunting alone?" the warrior asked, raising her tail to point at the empty spaces beside her fellow thunderclan cat. she bit her tongue to keep herself from asking anything else, sensing that anything more would make her seem annoying. a thump sounded as she put her right paw in front of her left, taking a step towards the unnamed character. "and, again, would you mind telling your name? it's not much of a secret to keep," the female insisted once more, not caring about her former thoughts on not seeming annoying.
