Guilt pricked at his heart as the tom realized he hadn't the faintest clue as to what to approach first in terms of teaching. He was rather lackluster himself, so if anything Fizzlepaw wouldn't... turn out the greatest. "You wanna go out... now?" he asked, surprise filtering into his already quivering gaze. Each limb shook slightly now and the gears within his head began to turn trying to find a way out of this.
He was a mentor now, though. He couldn't just not train his apprentice...
"How about... after the meeting?" Yes, that would give him the time he needed. To clear his head and figure out exactly what the hell he was suppose to start with. Offering a small smile, Sunchaser turned his gaze back to Buckstar, hoping that Fizzlepaw would do the same.
Rainywhisker inhales slowly. He'd feared that his leader would choose this fate for the apprentice. In spite of the younger tom's bitter words and unremorseful actions, no one truly wished pain upon the younger ones. And Tidepaw was but an apprentice. But Buckstar would need to be patient if he wanted to have Tidepaw eat the deathberries. ThunderClan had none in storage at the time- Rainywhisker did not wish to risk kits finding them, and using them at all was against his moral code by far. "I'll send Frostpaw out for a few, in that case," he meows gruffly. "I hope you can understand the need to obtain them directly from the territory-" He glances at the kit who had snuck in to watch from afar. "I don't like entertaining the thought of unnecessary deaths."
After another heartbeat, the tom begins to poke around for his apprentice. "Frostpaw!"

Frostpaw shot her head out of the den,” What do you want, Littlewhiser?” she asked glaring at Rainywhisker. She didn’t like him at all, and made a point out of refusing to learn his name. She felt it made him regret becoming medicine cat having to endure her.

"Jaykit, Fizzlekit, Applekit, Tinykit, and Frostkit. You five have reached the age required to become an apprentice, and are ready to begin your training."
"Jaykit, from this moment forward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Rainingpaw. I made you a promise a while back, and I intend to make good on it." Buckstar grinned down at the tom. "I will be your mentor."
"Frostkit [ @Panda1440 ], from this moment forward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Iciclepaw. Your mentor will be Darkfire [ @Paradise ]."
"Fizzlekit [ @Angelique ], from this moment forward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Fizzlepaw. Sunchaser [ @spade ] will be your mentor."
"Applekit [ @spade ], from this moment forward, until you recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Applepaw. Your mentor will be Falconglare [ @ghostwriter ]."
"And, finally, Tinykit [ @Cobra ]. Until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Tinypaw. Gravehound [ @Rani ] will be your mentor."
He would allow the pairs a bit of time to find each other before he moved on.
Dawnkit looked on at the apprentices, only a day and she would be one. only a day! She was the same size as them. only a day younger. She was so excited. She looked around the clearing at the older cats, and wondered which of them would be her mentor. I hope I get a nice one.
He stares at the she-cat for a heartbeat, momentarily stumped as he typically was when she called him by another name. "Deathberries. I need you to go and harvest just enough for Tidepaw here."

Blind? What was a blind, oh well, she'll find out eventually. "Oh, you must have good scent then, but uh, what's blind?" She didn't mean to sound rude in any way, just curious.
Muscles relaxing as Sunpoppy didn't show any signs of getting up and leaving him behind again, a small chuckle escaped the golden tabby. Was that how he was known? Sure, he didn't get into as many... "adventures" as Sunpoppy or Hareflood or some of the other daring ThunderClanners did, but he still had regular old adventures. "Hey, I can break the rules," he fired back in a playful tone, a daring gleam flickering across his expression as one brow kinked up. "I was thinking of taking a stroll out by the creek later." He wasn't; but Sunpoppy didn't have to know that.
Perhaps that's what he needed to do. Something crazy, something wild... Tip toeing on the edge of obscurity had been extremely boring as of late, though he pondered if his anxiety would even allow him to step away from it. It was nice not being given attention. In his mind, attention meant the discovery of how deep his romantic idolizations ran, who specifically they ran to - and that just couldn't be discovered by anyone.
A blush filled Sunchaser's cheeks as his friend saw fit to pick out his response to Hareflood's recent spotting. "N-No that's okay. Really. He's not my type," he tried to joke, though it came out a bit more stiff than carefree. He was pretty sure Hareflood would more than likely feed him to the coyotes than have an actual conversation, and besides the feat of approaching him to even start a conversation seemed rather daunting. A big, strong, daring tom like him...
Recovering from the pointed joke during the pitiful silence that befell him and Sunpoppy, he let out a cough. "He'll be lucky if I even train him in anything," he remarked honestly, his shoulders moving up and down in an indifferent shrug. The last thing he wanted to do was spend his days with a babbling baby, taking away from the time he could be spending searching for the ever illusive love. Glancing in his friend's direction, he kinked an eyebrow. "Maybe our first session will be in Sunkissed Creek."
It was meant as a joke, but the thought lingered in Sunchaser's mind. Putting the new apprentice in a dangerous situation such as being coyote bait would solve his problem of being a mentor. He imagined that they would burst through, fangs dripping, in the middle of Fizzlepaw practicing his crouch. With one chomp, away he would go leaving Sunchaser free of any duty or ties to actually having to do warrior duties.
He couldn't lie to himself; the thought alone was tempting.
Blind? What was a blind, oh well, she'll find out eventually. "Oh, you must have good scent then, but uh, what's blind?" She didn't mean to sound rude in any way, just curious.
"I can't see." Explaind Shadowkit. "Only in dreams and in danger can i see" He added. "But thats special to me only."
Nosing her way into the den and ignoring the pain that came with with, Splitstorm huffed again. She'd decided to come back and just sleep off her late night excursion, managing to slip past the camp guard.
Now though, the deep scratch on her face was beginning to irritate her.
"Rainywhisker," she snapped, not in the mood to even be in here. The herb stench and smell of sickness made her want to gag. Still, she remained however, eyes glancing around for the medicine cat. She didn't bother calling for Frostpaw - the last thing her sour mood needed was to deal with her sass.
He walked over to a grassy spot and sat down with the vole. His mouth was practically watering the whole way over there. The vole smelled amazing, and best of all, it seemed fresh. Although to be polite, Sunripple waited for Cedarleaf to come over to start eating. It had been a while since they had last eaten together. Of course while she was walking over there he had to think of a conversation starter. Eating in silence wasn't something he enjoyed much, especially when it was with someone he cared about.
Cedarleaf followed Sunripple, trailing slightly behind. She was very glad she knew what the feelings was now. It wasn't strange, it was wonderful and even the very sight of the cat that caused the feeling filled her with happiness from ear to tail tip. She sat next to Sunripple with her prey, not wanting to keep him waiting any longer than he had to. Besides, she was hungry. She looked at Sunripple before she started eating. If he said anything, she didn't want to miss a word.
He laughed airly at his Apprentice's antics, she was so enthused. After tilting his head from one side to the other he let out a chuckle, looking up at the other Warrior with an almost apologetic expression, mainly amused. "I'm sure Gosling would go with or without me at this point." he laughed.
Mooswhisper looked back down at the smaller feline and raised a paw, aiming to gently place it over her face. "No need for begging so much silly. Just a simple please will suffice as long as you're well behaved." he explained.
