Gentlefoot smiled. She was always happier when she was around kits. "Would anyone else like some fresh-kill?" she asked, looking around at the various kits and queens.

The queen was sitting in her nest when pain shot down her side. She laid down thinking it was a cramp but was met by more pain shooting down her side. She felt another and pushed, realizing it was the kits. A kit that looked like her came and she moved him to her belly, cleaning him.

Letting out a small shiver due to the touch of the air for the first time, he let out a slight mew as he wriggled against his mother for some warmth before finally settling down a little.

Echokit went back into the nursery. She sat down in a corner. Hmf. Ill clean myself now! she thought. The kit had recently ran into her enemy skunkkit.

The she-cat gave her new kit a purr and felt anothe pain. She pushed and a small silver tom with black spots. She moved him to her belly beside his brother and prepared for the next contraction.
