She closed her eyes tightly,letting this sink in for a moment before snapping her eyes open and smiling goofily . She jumped up and tackled him, gently pinning him down and giggling . "sapphirepaw . you, of all cats I know should have been simply able to get a few words out of your mouth " (gtg!)

Sapphirepaw smiled, though his body was on fire like hers. Simple my tail end.. he purred in thought. "You want me to say them, fine.." he said and sighed.

With a flick of his tail and a small smile he gain enough confidence to finally say atleast a part of it. "Frostpaw, I have known you forever, and I guess I have always liked you, and..." he sighed again and pressed his nose on hers. "I love you."

Frostpaw smiled even more and pressed her head on his shoulder, tail wiggling happily behind her . "I love you too sapphirepaw. And I knew I liked you as soon as you agreed to be my freind . maybe even before that " she sighed, her thoughts drifting to her younger kit hood. It now seemed so different than what she was living through right now despite it being only a few short moons ago.

After a moment frostpaw slowly lifted her head and stepped off of him, cheek fur on fire . a sudden thought raced through her head and her smile was replaced with a small frown before smiling again .

At the words of her clan mate leaving the clan, her eyes widened slightly. It didn't come as much of a shock but somehow it still surprised her that a cat would willingly want to leave the clan they were raised in. Scorchflake was slightly shocked Halestor took the news so well, and accepted her own clanmate was leaving. She felt the deputy deserved an explanation, though. "Blazingnight was my best friend, despite everything that happened. I can't stand being in the same camp in which I murdered her. If I have to, I'd do it again, but... I can't live with the thought of what I've done. The reminder of seeing her blood stain is too much." There was a pause, and she moved away from that subject. "I don't want our clanmates to see me a traitor, either. For willing to kill two of the cats who viewed no different than the evil ways of the Dark Forest."
That was all she had for an explanation. It wasn't much, but she felt Halestorm would understand the situation. She was mentally being destroyed, and the deputy had to know what it felt like.

Although he knew it didn't concern him, something had always bothered the she-cat and that was the conversation that brought them to this point.

"Just because you're hurt doesn't necessarily mean you're weak. As long as you aren't dead, it means you've survived a fight- which makes you strong."Forestpelt mewed. She was beginning to grow frustrated with the tom's way of putting himself down. It wasn't necessary! He didn't needto feel discriminated against...he was choosing that. Perhaps that was part of the reason that Forestpelt found it so hard to walk away from him. Not hard, necessarily...but it was a strange thing. Part of her wanted to be accepted by him, but most of her was fighting against it, causing her to sometimes speak softer and kinder; at other times in her usual harsh, sharp voice. "Really? That definitely isn't what your body language stated. Don't lie to me."Forestpelt hissed in her sharp tone. Whatever reassurance she had been trying to give before was gone. It had been replaced by this strange, sharp half-hiss that made her voice so harsh and angry. What did she have to be angry about? Foxspring hadn't necessarily said anything wrong- but his words had upset her nonetheless.

Sapphirepaw smiled. "Well that was a bit obvious ya know." He purred playfully.
"Oh my god! I knew it!" A familiar voice called, and Sapphirepaw jumped. "I saw the whole thing! I called it haha! Mr. I won't love no one my tail end!" Moonpaw purred as she pointed a paw at her sister and Sapphirepaw.
