ShadowClan Training Cliffs

The tom waited on the cliffs for some sort of warrior to train him. "Hello?" He asked. "Can someone give me a training lesson?" He asked. His fur stood on end. He wanted to grab a warrior by the neck and drag them over here.

Bearheart brushed her way past a thistle bush, snagging her fur slightly. She sniffed at the apprentice, eyeing him slightly. "Don't you have a mentor to help you?" She asked, huffing slightly. Her legs ached from hunting early that morning, but she couldn't ignore the apprentice's calls.

"I think ShadeStorm has other things to think about." He said. "Besides." He looked at bearheart. "I do want to see what it would be like to have a diffrent mentor."

Bearheart sighed, "I suppose it can't be helped then." She mewed. She began stretching her paws, her fur bristling in the wind. "What have you been trained on so far?" She sat down, covering her paws with her long, fluffy tail.

"No, I havent, but i'm a super good hunter. I practiced with my dad in camp." He said. "If you'd allow me to demonstrate." He said, eyes narrowing into slits. He spotted a mouse, he crouched, his stomach clenched, allowing him to not slide onto the ground. His tail stayed straight, twitching here and there. He hesitated before leaping, but he did, and his claw sank into the mouse's tail, and he made the killing bite.

Bearheart watched intently, her amber eyes narrowed with concentration. She stood up after Jaypaw dispatched of the mouse and purred approvingly. "You did well," she said. "Have you had any proper fighting training?"

He smiled, and dropped his mouse. Then, his ears pinned back. "No, Ma'am. He said, a little bit emarrased.

Bearheart nodded her head at the apprentice's response. "That's okay," she mewed, her typically icy voice sounded almost encouraging. "I'll help you the best I can but I'm still a pretty new warrior." She admitted. She stretched her legs before putting herself in a half crouched pouncing position, her tail low against the ground and her ears pinned forward. "Some fighting moves use your hunting skills too," she explained, "this crouch is similar tp a hunting position, do you think you could replicate it?"

Bearheart watched the apprentice's form intently. "Good enough," she said, huffing slightly. "Make sure your claws aren't out, then go ahead and try to knock me over." She stood on all four paws, firm in her stance.

He nodded, and he crouched. Then he leapt out at the she-cat's flank, hoping to land into her. It was speeding fast. He was fast for his young age.
