Coastpaw's ears warmed in embarrassment at their words, however, it was probably true so there wasn't much he could say. Thankfully, he was a RiverClan cat and wouldn't mind having a quick dip in the water before going back home. He actually kind of looked forward to going for a swim, having not seen the water in quite some time. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea," He meowed with a chuckle, relaxing now that he was sure they weren't going to attack him. "Thanks, Sassafrasfire... and uh," His blue orbs observed the apprentice next to them. "...Yeah, I'm sorry, I don't know your name. But, thank you too." The tom stood to the side a bit, waiting for them to continue on so that he could follow a little distance behind, not wanting to overwhelm them with his smell. He had become nose-blind to himself after this time, but he imagined if he stunk as bad as the twolegplace had smelt, then it must be bad. He gave his paw a curious sniff, confused how he couldn't smell his own stink.

She had scented the little creature a while ago, waiting to see if Lampreypaw would pick up on it. She nodded when the apprentice asked if they could catch it. "Alright, I'm gonna show you how to do this and then you will try and catch the next prey that we find." Dropping into a crouch, she prowled forward towards her unsuspecting prey. She made sure to keep her tail low and her back legs spring loaded. She crept through a bush and peeked out the other side. Keeping her head low, she stalked a little out of the bush and stood still. The chipmunk had heard something and was looking about the area. Bolting forward while it was faced the other way, she pinned the small creature and killed it with a swift bite.

Dusk sniffed the air, smelling many cats. Is this the place the cats in the twoleg place told me about? I certainly smell a lot of cats! Crabpaw padded alongside Cloverstone, trying to keep up with his little legs. This was his first tour of the territory and he didn't want to miss a thing! Every now and then he'd stop to admire a large tree or watch the fishies swim by in the stream. RiverClan was absolutely beautiful!

Though during their journey, Crabkit swore he saw something moving up ahead. He stopped and squinted. Was that...another kitten? "Cloverstone, look!" He pointed his paw at the figure wandering a few fox-lengths away from them.

The pale pointed cat watched coolly as their mentor caught and killed the chipmunk. Though they kept their paws still and their whiskers from quivering they couldn't help but be excited. Mimicking their mentor to the best of their ability, they crouched down and slithered forward on careful paws, Lampreypaw pounced on a flower sprouting out of the damp ground. It was just a practice run, but for a first try they had done well.

"What about fish?" They asked softly. They wriggled their hindquarters and tail stump in excitement.

Dusk smelled cats, but more fresh this time. He looked around, sure they were close by. Dusk saw two cats, a full grown cat, and...another kit! Maybe they are part of the clans! I´ll have to ask them! He padded over to the cats and sat down, trying to look as small as possible. Dusk shook his brown tabby pelt, and gave his white chest fur a quick lick. He smiled at the other cats. ¨Are you guys by anychance part of the clans that live around here?¨ He looked at the cats, hoping that they were. If they weren´t, there would be no way he could escape them if they chose to be hostile. Dusk shifted on his paws and shook his pelt, as if he were trying to shake off his nerves.

Wormbite was scowling deeply as he walked side by side Mossypaw. Really, it wasn't like he had anything against the tom. He was just aware he was.. really a lot. Though, Silvershade had requested him to go hunt with Mossypaw and Wormbite was ready to face one of that warrior's lectures.

Wormbite would halt in his tracks, taking the time to sniff the air for any prey.

Mossypaw didn't mind escaping from the camp and his horrible mentor to go on a hunting trip with Silvershade and Wormbite. Although he did find it a bit weird that Wormbite almost had a...hidden scowl on his face. "Heyyyy." Casually bumping shoulders with the tom as if they were best friends. Mossypaw loved to socialize rather than walking in silence.

From the behavior Mossypaw displayed at previous meetings, he seemed quite bratty. So, Wormbite couldn't help but be surprised by his casualness...? It was weird.
Wormbite raised an brow, glancing at the tom. "Huh?" He blinked, an more puzzled expression growing on his face. He took a step away from Mossypaw, "Is the path not big enough for you..?" Was that why he was so close? He was grateful the coyote bite was on his right shoulder, not his left. "And yes. Hello." He would add onto is statement.

He padded over to the kit, " you're right Crabpaw, it's an outsider", he told the apprentice, then softened his voice for the young cat before him, Your in luck young one, it just so happens that we are. May I ask your name? Cloverstone examined the kit, signalling for his apprentice to come closer. This will be good for him to meet a cat outside the clans, even if it's just a harmless kit. It's a good start

Leafbreeze was trotting out further from the entrance, only turning back just in time to see Mosspaw stumble out clumsily. Clearly, the apprentice still had much to learn in the ways of balancing herself. Heading back towards Mosspaw, Leafbreeze used her tail to brush off the excess moss and grass that had gotten all over her pelt from her little tumble.

"If there's one thing you're good at, it's making a mess." The silver she-cat said jokingly. Soon after she helped bring Mosspaw back onto her paws, giving her a gentle nuzzle. "Now let's get hunting, I'm excited to see if you've kept your skills." Giving the apprentice the chance to show off her skills would hopefully keep her excited, Leafbreeze only wanted the best for her apprentice, so keeping her entertained was just the first task of many she would have to keep up on this trip.
