Mistfall stepped out of camp, following Creekrunner. She felt like she hadn't gone on a hunting patrol in awhile. The molly usually went on border patrols or hunted by herself when she had the time. She knew she wasn't the best hunter - very far from it - so she hoped to not embarrass herself in front of her clan-mate. Yes, yes, she was a warrior and shouldn't be worrying about such things, but she couldn't help it at times. She also hoped that they got a good amount of fish for the clan that will only grow bigger due to the season.

"is this it?" Sootpaw asked as he stumbled upon a hole like entrance .Placing a paw on its rim, he lost his footing and slipped in with a yowl.

Creekrunner’s perpetual pace was a brisk jog and he led the way through the forest that way, flicking his ears at each small noise that ricocheted through the undergrowth as he went. They weren’t meant to hunt here, having been sent to Cattail pond, but if a vole or bird scuttled across his path he’d be a fool not to grab it. The silver warrior slowed his pace as they neared the pond and stepped quieter, scenting the air for prey nearby. He wanted to catch a few water birds or voles before settling in to snatch some fish. A tiny shuffling noise caught his attention and he breathed in the scent of vole. Crouching low to the grass, Creekrunner stalked forward and punched with ease, snapping the rodent’s neck with one foot.

She quickly grabbed his scruff, claws unsheathed so she could hold onto the ground. After she was sure she was on sturdy ground, she responded.
"Yep, this is the place. Be careful, and stay close by me. After all, this is fairly new territory." She meowed a warning before stepping a bit closer to the tunnel. She didn't go here much, but she knew she had to be the leader here.
"Follow my lead, and stay close to me. That way you won't get lost." Hopefully, anyway. She thought with a slight grimace.

Releasing a sharp gasp while he was caught, the tom shook himself and huffed. Nodding he followed her in "woah....this ...different ...creepy " he commented .

"I'm gonna be honest, I thought it would be more homely." She meowed with a disappointed sigh. Then she saw more tunnels going all which way.
"Oh no" She thought out loud, fear glazing her green eyes.

Mistfall was surprised by Creekrunner's jogging pace but she easily kept up. Well, she was a little behind due to being so short, but she was in shape and was never far behind the tom. She did quickly stop when he crouched, realizing that the tom must have heard something and was hunting land-prey. She smiled as she stayed back and out of his way, watching him hunt. It wasn't too common for Riverclanner to hunt on land, but it seemed to be a skill that the two warriors shared. "Nice catch," Mistfall mewed as she approached the tom, offering a friendly smile. The light grey molly glanced in the direction of Cattail pond. "Shall continue?" She assumed he wouldn't want to bury the prey for later since they would be hunting in one spot soon instead of moving around.

“Thanks!” Creekrunner chirped through a mouthful of fur that almost entirely concealed his habitual lopsided grin. The tom straightened up and nodded to Mistfall, following along behind her in the direction of the pond. The smell of fresh meat made the tom’s mouth water and his belly grumbled to remind him that he’d skipped eating. Creekrunner sighed and chuckled to himself, shaking his head as he followed the fellow warrior. Once they reached the bank of the pond, Creekrunner dropped his vole on a flat rock and sat down on the bank, looking to see where Mistfall would choose to sit.

"why??? " he asked then raised his brow . But as he saw the multiple tunnels , his confusion was put to rest. "cool!!" he meowed only for it to echo. " Echol!!" echo! echo! echo..... gazing at the right tunnel " I'll take this one! Maybe it'll be more fun. I wonder if we can find any kind of prey in here " he then started to head off.

Snailriver nodded at Lionstar's command, and gestured to his new apprentice. "Come along Ivypaw. We're going fishing." With that he headed out into the territory, his focus on reaching the river and how he would best be able to show Ivypaw. He had quite a fair bit of experience underneath his belt but teaching was new to him. However, he wanted to handle this. As they reached the river he sat down and pointed with his tail towards the river, trying to remember the complete basics that they taught apprentices. "An important thing to learn here, is how to avoid detection by the fish. The fish can sense when there is no longer light overhead, and thereby you have to learn to sit and lean back so that your shadow is no longer leaning over the river but instead on the ground." He demonstrated this by moving forward to sit next to river, and leaned back with his paws still in reach to reach down but his shadow covered the ground instead of the river.
