Man. Shade missed doing stuff like this, and the apprentice’s reaction was simply perfect. He closed his eyes, and flashed the tom a wide Cheshire grin. ”Yeah, your a bit too late for that buddy,” said Shadefrost cheerfully. Then he added in a slightly sterner voice, ”Hey, aren’t you supposed to be training or hunting. Or litterally doing anything other than wasting your days away sleeping?” It wasn’t as if Shade cared about what other cats did during their days, but if there was a reason that this young cat wasn’t being productive, then maybe it meant that he needed to talk to Dawnstar about a new mentor.

Strompaw simply looked at the warrior who he somehow still didnt know who he was but he was a warrior and not a new one at that

He slowly got his tail away from the bigger cats paws and slowly sat up after he was done talking taking a few seconds of awkward silence, while doing this Stormpaw tried to not break eye contact

"Yes i probaly am" he said trying to be as profesinol as possible to the cat who he just yelled at and could probaly thrash him in a blink of a eye

"Then what are you doing lounging around in here," asked the warrior, his brow furrowed questioningly. As he waited for an answer, Shade subtly pressed his injured paw against the ground again and again. His goal was to get himself associated with the pain in his shoulder so that way if he had to do anything physical later on there wouldn’t be much hindering him from performing his duties as a warrior. Plus, it helped that most of the discomfort his arm was causing him had slowly ebbed away by now.

"To nap" he said still not showing any emotion and making full eye contact, he had to play this as smooth as possible

Though it seemed his paw or even arm was injured so he stood a chance in getting away if he had too, He made sure that his posture was correct making small subtle changes every few seconds

Stormpaw started to get nervous, "Well i did most of them" he said trying to be straight forward but of course he sounded sarcastic and snobby thats just how he sounds which made him tense

Most? Well, Shade supposed that most was better than none. He took a seat to relieve pressure from his shoulder, then said, "So, what's your name?"

Stormpaw scared to sit down since he didnt know who he was facing stayed formal sitting

"My name is Stormpaw, apprentice of quitewing" he said in his normal accent though trying to be straight forward

"Hmm, is that so." Shade had never really heard of Quietwing until now, so he was drawing a blank on her face. Guess that's another reason why one should always try to acquaint themselves with their clanmates right? "Well I'm Shadefrost nice to meet you. You know I think I've heard of you before."
