Cedarleaf hadn’t heard words like those in a long time. She could almost, almost hear them right then, though. She could almost hear what she imagined Sunripple’s voice sounded like, could almost hear the love in the words. She could sure feel it, and relate to it. Just thinking about it sent a shiver of happiness through her.

For a moment, Cedarleaf didn’t know what was happening. Just that she loved it. Then she opened her eyes to see Sunripple leaning against her head. She didn’t even know when she closed her eyes. All she knew was that this was what true happiness felt like. What true satisfaction felt like. And she was loving every second of it. @rosetherosey

Rapidkit took her chance after Mosskit said something. “Of course she wants ta be our friend!” she mewed. “Everybody wa- nts to be our friends!” Her voice did the weird broken word thing! She frowned. Why did it do that sometimes? She didn’t like it. @MossFlower123 @Spoopy Eclipse

Awakening from a strange dream about flying rats, Dustwing momentarily forgot where he was... until he remembered.
“Poppycloud?” He croaked, opening his eyes, “The birds are quite loud today, eh?”
The old tom heaved himself to his paws, his ragged yellow fur matted with sleep. As he shook out his pelt, his “wings” flopped against his side, he scowled,
“What’s the use of having these if I can’t fly?” He harrumphed, asking the question he asked every morning without fail, “Seriously though.”

He had never been the best at this stuff, but now he realized it was because it was never true love. When you love someone it all comes naturally, or at least that's what it felt like. Cedarleaf had a glowing warmth that lit up the forest even on the darkest of nights. The words "I love you" when she said them in her beautiful voice made his heart fly all the way up to the moon.

Her soft fur was beautiful. Her soft voice was beautiful. Her brains were beautiful. Her bravery was beautiful. Everything about her was beautiful. Even her imperfections. Everything was perfect and nothing could change that.

Rapidkit didn’t think the voice thing was funny. It just happened! Like that! Out of nowhere! But she forgot about the thing when the kit said she did want to be friends. “YAYYY!” She started bouncing around, and almost didn’t hear her name. “I’m Rapidkit!” she mewed to Fogkit.
