The pinecone bonked Sagechaser on the head, and if life were unrealistic it probably would've made a hollow, echoing sound upon impact. Unfortunately, life doesn't work like that. The white cat whipped his head around, trying to pinpoint his assailant with wide, hurt, confused eyes. His one working eye caught sight of Lilypaw and - oh. He grinned widely at her around the pinecone still in his mouth, waved his tail, and then continued chewing on his own pinecone, lazily batting the one Lilypaw had thrown at him between his paws.

Larkfire
She/Her | Shadow Fiend & Beefed Up (T1) Purrk

Once-sharp amber hues now drifted across the clearing at a slow pace, seemingly distracted. Her paw scattered sand as a leisurely pace, gaze finally picking a random point in the clearing to fixate on -- a cluster of ferns in a corner of camp. Beside her, a little stream of water trickled away, the soft, melodious sounds merry and bright and oh-so-distant.

For the first time in a while, Larkfire had nothing to do. She stared blankly at the plants swaying in the mild breeze, ignoring the increasingly queasy feeling in her stomach. Face twisting with slight pain, the youngest enforcer unconsciously lifted a backleg to scratch behind her ear.

She really needed something to do. See, the problem with that was, Larkfire drew up short when she tried to think of anything that didn't tie directly back to her job as an Enforcer.

Cloudpaw, once again, was sitting in the clearing. Bored. So very bored. Ughhhhhhhh, really, how utterly boring did this Clan have to be? Where in the name of the stars was her mentor? Even as much as she didn't want her pretty paws to get dirty, Cloudpaw wanted out! Stars, she was going to go insane! Cloudpaw gave a dramatic sigh, obnoxiously yawning and stretching. How ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous!

Shadowkit chased after the butterfly, not paying attention to anyone else. That's probably why she didn't see Sagechaser, instead running into him. She tumbled over onto her back.

Brown eyes slowly climb the towering figure and after a moment or two, the apprentice wonders how big a cat could be. Or tall. Was it tall? Probably. He seems to think after the absolute unit actually speaks, and furrows his brow. "Wow, how do I even decipher what that means? What language is that? Not cat." @vampire

Whatever just bumped into him made him drop his pinecone, but that was alright because he now has a new friend! "Hey!" Sagechaser grinned, looking down at the kit. "You need help there?" he asked, referring to the 'turtle-on-its-back' position she was in. "What were you runnin' after?" Because really, who runs that fast if they weren't chasing something? Sagehcaser looked around the clearing curiously before looking back down at Shadowkit.
