Marigold ran through the hole, eyes huge, and shot into the forest dragging her hind leg behind her. Claw began to follow her, but Death held him back. "Let her starve to death, then go in for the territory." She snapped.

Marigold had taken shelter in a hollow tree, and lay on her side, licking her wounds. She winced in pain whenever she strained her neck or moved her body. Her pelt was laced with scraped, deep and shallow, and her hind leg was bloody and limp. Her eyes glazed with pain, she groaned and flopped over, laying her head down.

Leaf heard a moan from nearby and crept slowly toward it, finding the hollow tree that sheltered Marigold. He crouched near it, not knowing if he should show himself.

She raised her head. "W-who's there?" She called weakly. "Death is that you?"
Fennel nodded at Shark got to work before vacating to catch them some food. He ended up catching five plump little pigeons, good thing they were dumb. He grabbed each one by a leg and padded back to his home, dropping one pigeon off at a random house for charity. Once he arrived back he watched as a cat bumped into Shark, oh boy, they’re both wimps. He thought to himself. He rolled his eyes and dropped the pigeons off in the middle of the den before turning to look at the strange cat and Shark. “You should watch where you’re going.” He snarled a bit. Ugh he hated cats so much. It was just so harddd.
"Ah!" Shark quickly scrambled into his cabinet and stood in the very back of the nest. His fur was bristling and his ears were once again flattened. The tom slowly poked his head out of the hole and shot it back in. "G-go away-y! I'm not h-here!" The grey tom shouted, wanting Fennel to come up into his cabinet.
Honeybee cowered when she was approached by fennel, her eyes wide with fear. Why - why were there so many scary cats there? Backing up on shaking paws, her eyes flitting between the two cats, one noticeably more confident than the other. ¨I-I-Im sorry! I d-didnt mean it, I s-swear!¨ she squeaked out, her heart dropping as she watched the other cat scamper away. Did she really run into them that hard? Did...did she scare them?? Oh no, she didnt mean that! She didnt mean that at all!
Leaf flicked his tail and said, "I am Leaf, and I won't do you any harm, no worries."
"That's what Death said too." Marigold growled, but seemed to know he wasn't going to hurt her. "What do you want?" She asked, shifting her weight to be more comfortable.
