At finding not much cool stuff, Whitepaw found himself climbing a tree, keeping the red berry branch in his jaws. He kept careful not to put his paws on the pine needles or getting on too small of branches. After about 10 or more minutes of climbing, he found himself near to the top and able to look around through the territory. He blinked as he saw the Windclan border. That had been when the Twoleg had attacked the poor she-cat he knew as Deadpool. He swished his tail to the side. At least the she-cat hadn't died and was back to Windclan again. He then looked the other way and saw the pine forest thin out into a more swampy land. That, he believed, was Riverclan. Looking a bit away, he saw the large mountains in the distance. From his memory, some type of other clan lived there, but the elder hadn't specified very well. All he knew is that the land likely was claimed by either Riverclan or Thunderclan, but he had a feeling Riverclan had likely claimed it. Greedy Fox-hearts wanted anything they could get their grubby paws on. He grumbled, shaking his head as he continued to scan the sight, taking in the different likely territories of the clans.

Mouseleap deposited a mouse and a frog she hunted into the prey pile and sat around waiting for other duties. She watched the clearing and decided to get more moss for beddings.

"We'll do that," Frostpaw determined easily. If he seemed to be asking for Nightpaw's opinion a lot, then it was because he wanted the molly to enjoy herself. He didn't want to be the leader and have to choose everything for them, maybe even choosing wrong, but because of that, he didn't realize that the other apprentice might feel the same way. Personally, Frostpaw would go along with about anything that Nightpaw decided; she actually seemed very skilled in making choices, to him at least. It was an interesting turnaround from his short time living with Lion and Raven, in which he had undeniably been the leader of their small group.

The way that Nightpaw had described it, Frostpaw saw it as more of a two cat patrol than a walk. They would be searching for Fallenheart (honestly, where in stars had the tabby warrior gone?) instead of marking borders, and along the way, they would hunt. It didn't come to mind that the white apprentices would be walking alongside each other; at the time, it seemed like a normal thing to do. Even if they didn't end up catching anything, Frostpaw didn't mind a bit of walking with a close friend. Nightpaw was his only friend in ShadowClan, actually. She was one of his two friends left in the world. He should open up to more cats, he supposed. Frostpaw doubted that it would happen, though.

"I can scent Fallenheart in that direction," Frostpaw stated, pointing in said direction with his tail. He signaled for Nightpaw to follow him and started padded after the scent, falling back after a while so that they were walking beside each other instead of the tom leading ahead.

She stopped again as her mentor intercepted her. She tilted her head as he spoke to her her. Why are they in bad terms...Well, probably because he talks bad about her behind her back and to her face! She gave her short creamy brown pelt a quick shake, she fell to the ground in surprise as Falcondive swept her paws out from under her.

Her pelt prickled a little as he scorned her again. She looked up at him, thinking for a moment before replying, "Well, I know that you aren't going to teach me to fight...But am I going to learn to hunt?" She got up slowly, shaking the dirt and pine needles from her pelt. Her dark green eyes fixed onto his face, determined not to let him push her around. Even if he was bigger and stronger than her.

"You will be shown defensive techniques," Falcondive informed her coldly. "But as a queen, you will not need to be on the offensive. Your duty is to carry, care for, and raise your future kits-- not fight."

Though he turned from her, he kept a close eye on Eaglepaw. "Hunting will also be done, but first you will be shown the boundaries. Hunting does not harm.. your delicate little pelt, and doing it in moderation is good for keeping your body healthy. Fit."

A sleek, black she-cat maneuvered through the trees. All this mud was making her fur dirty! When she got to the moor-runner territory she was going to clean herself for a whole moon! @Quailsong

Eaglepaw noticed the coldness in his voice. Well, at least I get to learn to do defence... But she knew that she also wanted to do offense. She thought for a moment before replying, "Well, what if I am hunting alone, and I get attacked by a rouge cat! Defense won't save me! I'll have to fight back or they will just keep fighting me! And you wouldn't want a future queen to die, now would you?" She looked at the big tom, standing her ground, determined to be able to learn to fight.

Eaglepaw couldn't help but relax when he turned away from her. She narrowed her eyes as he said 'your delicate little pelt'. Her fur bristled but she said nothing. She paused, looking up at him. "Wait a minute...Do you even have a mate?" She thought about what she had seen of Falcondive while she was at camp. She didn't see him a lot, but she didn't remembering him having a mate. "You don't even know anything about she-cats! If you did have a mate, you would know how wrong you are!" She sat down, waiting for an answer. She may have gone a little far, but it was too late to go back now.

She turned back. "I'm soooo sorry that i'm doing what you clan cats want me to do, getting off your territory." She tried to clean her paws while she was talking, but they just got muddy again when she put them down. Her fur was sleek and shiny.

She seemed confused, why would a clan cat offer her help? "O- ok then..." Why did she like this cat so much? She had only just met him!
