Stormstripe let Risingmoon think a little. Hearing his short response, she chuckled a little, knowing his mind was still thinking. "It probably is," she agreed. Stormstripe tried to sit up and get into a more comfortable position, but her large belly was in the way.
She lay down on her side and took in the warmth of the sun. Soon she was uncomfortable again, so she swapped sides and lay on her other side. Finally, she was as comfortable as she could get, anyway. "I wish these kits would just be born already," she sighed.

"Definitely looks like it," chuckled Risingmoon. The molly seemed like she was near kitting, because her stomach was evidently swollen and she couldn't seem to stop writhing around. Now, clearly, he knew nothing about Queens and kitting and such. He wasn't a medicine cat! But growing up in ThunderClan, where there always seemed to be new life in the nursery, he knew plenty as to what a near-birth Queen looked like. Feeling like an idiot for saying what he said, he shuffled his paws and lopsidedly smiled as he blanched. Conversation wasn't his forte, to word it nicely. "But families always turn out well most of the time. I'm sure it will be a fine litter," he purred.

Trappaw was just about to let out a hiss, but then didn't, because this cat was a bit similar to him. They both weren't clan born. Well Trappaw is a half clan cat. "Hunting would be fine." replied Trappaw, keeping his cool.

Foxthorn sighed softly at the she-cat. It wasn't that she was annoying him, or really even getting under his fur at all. She was just distracting. She was too... Interesting to ignore, though the Tom still wanted to see the other cats' reactions when they bit into the mouse-bile filled prey. But after a moment, his gaze switched to Winterstorm, faint interest sparking in his eyes. "Oh, no, Winter - I've done something much, much worse." His voice took on a slightly darker edge, but it didn't surprise him anymore. Foxthorn could be quite dark when it came to his pranks, not that he much minded it. Eventually, the Somali shook his head. "But enough about me. How have you been doing?" He chirped. The transition was odd; One minute his voice was cold, dark, almost sadistic. The next it was high-pitched and innocent, back to the cheerful cat he usually was. There was nothing evil about Foxthorn, really, but sometimes he got too caught up in pranking.

Mintkit giggled as she snuggled against the larger Tom, purring softly as her nose buried into his chest fur for a moment. His question had her ears perking. "Nope!" She replied, a little too cheerful. How odd she seemed so... Smug about not being missed by her family, nor by her siblings. Her ice blue eyes were alight with amusement as she looked up at Marshpaw. "Trust me, they won't even notice I'm gone. I told you, I'm not exactly the most excitable kit out of my brothers." Her head tilted, smiling brightly at her best friend. Marshpaw was kind enough to show that kind of concern, though she could see it in his eyes; He wanted to spend the day with her. "Well, I guess I am when it comes to you. But not with them. I can't really feel it around them." Her smile melted for only a second, replaced with a thoughtful look. Why was that? Why was Marshpaw the only cat that could get her to feel like a kit? She pondered the question for a moment, then decided she just didn't know the answer and gave up. "Well, anyway," She pushed her front paws against his chest, giggling. "It's just you and me, Marshy!"

"You're capable of that?" The white feline sounded surprised, like she didn't think he could do anything any worse. Oh no - Winterstorm could tell that he was far from a saint, but that didn't matter. As un-saint-like as Foxthorn was, the feline knew that she could be much worse. While him calling her just 'Winter' bothered her, the only sign that she had even heard the word was a quick flash crossing her eyes. The dark edge had startled her as well, like she had thought he was all sunshine and rainbows (which was clearly not true) but this had no effect on her outer appearance. She remained standing still, her expression partly serious with a half-smile almost attempting to peek through and then disappearing, before she responded to his question: the old serious expression still on her features. "Oh, I've been doing fine. Nice to know you care." The words were spoken in the most nonchalant tone possible, although - if she were being honest - it hadn't been too easy for her to say that. She wasn't used to saying that anyone cared. So even semi-sarcastically, the words came with a challenge.

The dark tom would have frowned at her cheerfulness about not being missed - did she not care? Except he didn't frown, because he was too excited at finally getting Mintkit all to himself once again for the day. "Ha, I almost forgot - you're just TOO happy with me, little Minty." The tom purred, lightly tapping her on the head with a single paw. The friendly gesture lasted no more then five seconds at the most, but even then, Marshpaw could feel himself glowing to have another day to spend with the cat who understood him. The cat who seemed to care. And he could understand her, care about her, it was a perfect balance and they were the perfect couple. Intricately woven, almost - like StarClan had planned for them to meet since the day the younger feline was born. "Hm." Was the only comment the tom made to her statement about not feeling very excitable around her siblings, but he guessed that was a conversation for another day. One that she should probably have with her parents or mentor or a warrior or anyone who was an authority figure. She might trust him, but Marshpaw wasn't sure if he was right for that type of conversation. The tom smiled as Mintkit put her front paws against his chest, and leaned his head down so that his nose was hovering inches from hers, dark eyes looking directly into her blue ones. "And we have plenty of time to ourselves." A purr rumbled in his throat as he lightly pushed her off, that familiar smile still on his maw. They would have the whole day to play, and do as they wished - and as could only be felt around her, Marshpaw felt a sense of satisfaction and security.

Snowstar bounded up onto the Highpeak, humming softly to herself as she went. Ah, today was an okay day. And it was time for ceremonies, one of her favorite things to do! The Siamese paused, looking down over her Clan, and grinned happily. "Cats of ThunderClan, gather around the Highpeak for a Clan meeting!"

She sat and waited for her Clan to gather, running her tongue over a paw and rubbing it down her muzzle. Then she set her paw down, and looked back down at her Clanmates, eyes shining.

"First we have some kits ready to become apprentices." Snowstar started warmly, smiling. "Lynxkit, Jaykit, Mintkit, and Blossomkit, come forward!" She watched, looking down at the kits, before smiling.

"Lynxkit, from this moment on you will be known as Lynxpaw. Morningblue ( @Charmer ) you are ready to take on an apprentice, so you will mentor Lynxpaw. I trust you'll pass down all you know onto her." She mewed solemnly before continuing on to the next kits.

"Jaykit, Mintkit, Blossomkit, you will be known as Jaypaw, Mintpaw and Blossompaw. Falconstrike ( @nightbriar ) you will mentor Jaypaw. Redfeather ( @Hopekit ) you will mentor Mintpaw. Tigerdawn ( @Spooky-Flameleaf ) you will mentor Blossompaw. I trust you will pass down all you know onto these apprentices."

With those out of the way, Snowstar turned to the apprentice that would be earning his warrior name.

"Marshpaw, please step forward." She beckoned the Tom forward, smiling gently. "I, Snowstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of the Warrior Code, and I grant him his warrior name in return. Marshpaw," Snowstar looked down at the Tom. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend the Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do."

"Then from this moment forward, Marshpaw, you shall be known as Marshjump. We honor your bravery and resourcefulness, and welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." Snowstar purred, before moving on to the next cats.

"Now, we have some cats who are interested in joining the Clan. Riley, Electric, Moon, step forward please," She beckoned the three with her tail. "Riley, you shall be known as Rileyflower; Electric, you shall be known as Electricheart; Moon you shall be known as Moonpelt. We welcome you as full warriors of ThunderClan." Snowstar stood up as she brought the ceremonies to a close, shaking out her fur.

"Clan dismissed." With that she leaped down from the Highpeak and padded into her den.

Mintkit's paws were fizzing with excitement as soon as she heard her mother call out Marshpaw's name. When his warrior name was announced - Which Mintkit thought was totally amazing by the way - Mintkit couldn't keep in the yowl. "Marshjump!" As soon as the ceremonies were finished the young kit launched herself across the clearing to reach her best friend, bouncing up and down with excitement. "I can't believe it! You're a warrior! You're still gonna make time for me between warrior duties, right?" She pressed, weaving around him excitedly.

Lynxkit - well, now Lynxpaw's - eyes widened with excitement. She scanned the crowd for her new mentor, feeling like she was about to explode with excitement, she rushed towards the tom, bouncing on her paws when she reached him. "Hi!" She said, energy radiating from the young bobtail. She grinned, her ears pricked as she purred softly. "What should we do first?" She asked, trotting a little circle around him.

Morningblue gazed up at the Highpeak as Snowstar addressed the clan. It was a small comfort to know that in spite of the chaos in the clans right now, life would still go on: kits would become apprentices, apprentices would become warriors, and right now, that was what Thunderclan needed, good strong warriors. He hadn't expected to get an apprentice, though he'd been hoping for some time. When he heard his name called, and saw the newly named Lynxpaw bounding up to him, his heart lightened just a little. Of all the apprentices to train, Lynxpaw was the one he would have puicked if he'd had his choice. The blue tom saw promise in the little shecat. As she bound up to him, he lowered his head to touch noses with her. "Congratulations, Lynxpaw," he said, using her new name. "We start at the beginning of course. To be a warrior of Thunderclan, you'll need to get to know Thunderclan territory. Your training begins now." With now more warning than that, the grey tom began loping toward the camp enterance, leaving Lynxpaw to follow after him.

Ottertail rolled over onto his back dramatically as she batted his ears, his eyes wide and innocent, only to roll onto his side seconds later, wrapping his large fluffy front limbs around her in a half-hug, half-strangling motion - not aggressively, but playfully, in a way that would bring no harm to her, which pretty much described how he felt about her a lot of the time. Playful and caring all wrapped into one mixed up relationship. "Ha, I could charm the FUR off of any she cat! Pick one!" Ottertail challenged, puffing his chest out boastfully. There were a couple of cats he wouldn't try to charm. First of all, there was Mintberry; he held too much respect for her to flirt with her and treat her like less then she was. He had respect for all she cats, they deserved it, but not so much that he wouldn't play that type of game every once in a while. Thankfully he wasn't as bad as some. That wasn't even to mention that it would just feel wrong - having a best friend that you flirted with, that was. The second was Crescentmoon, because she had already been through a lot and her best friend had just died and she was returning to ThunderClan, and Ottertail felt so bad about it that he wasn't quite sure what to do. He wouldn't charm her, that was for sure.

Mintberry's whiskers twitched at his response. "I'm sure I could find the feline you couldn't charm," she laughed a little bit. Her green hues scanned the area around them for a moment, wanting nothing more than to find that one she-cat. Of course, her smart mouth would say something soon. The black and white she-cat hummed to herself as her gaze shifted from feline to feline. She took mental notes, decided which cats were crazy, which were decent, etc. Suddenly, a mischievous smirk crossed her mouth as she turned to look at Ottertail again. "What about...." she paused for the effect. "One of the elders?" she winked before a laugh overtook her body. A purr rumbled from her throat as she rolled away from a predicted swipe or threat of being squished again. "I mean... they could use some charm in their lives, especially from a youngin' like you!" she continued to tease, her tail twitching rapidly with the thoughts.
