Hearing her former mentor the molly dipped her head before moving to wait for the two cats in the same patrol as her. The warrior was knew, but Spottedpaw was a cat she knew well and got along great with. Petuniafire almost wanted to call out the names of her patrolmates, but thought it would be rude since it was Frecklecry who was the leader of the patrol unless they didn't show up. She didn't mind taking over.

Saltpaw was lucky to have been in the clearing when patrols were announced. Icky grown-ups seemed to struggle to comprehend the fact that she could not hear them, so she had to, of course, take matters into her own paws. Unfortunately, she did not have the uber cool superpower of being everywhere at once, so she tended to miss a lot of stuff.

She trotted over, tail suck straight up like a proper apprentice, stifling her excited giggles. "MORNINGLILY! BLIZZARDSKY!!" She crowed, far louder than necessary. She was so smart. So clever. She could be as obnoxious as she wanted, and pretend to be complete oblivious to how loud she was being, or how annoying she was making her voice. As if she were stupid. "We've got a patrol! SO! Uh, hurry your butts over here!" Another burst of giggles. Butts. If her father were here he would have bapped her on the nose for being so vulgar.

At the sound of patrols being sent out, the spotted cat got up from where she was sun-basking, stretching out her muscles as she yawned . Water filled her bicolored eyes as she did so, and she irritatedly blinked them away. Before skipping over to where Blissardwind was handing out duties. Absent-mindedly listening for her name., and it wasn’t long until she heard it. Fawnbounce waited until the senior warrior was done speaking to go and find her patrol companions. She trotted over to where Doeheart was, dipping her head in silent greeting instead of expressing a vocal one. Knowing if she started talking, that she’d be unlikely to stop. So instead she waited not-so patiently for the party to leave.

That's a new voice, Doeheart stretched deeply as she heard patrols being called out. It shouldn't be too surprising, Skystar had been the deputy but after Kestrelstar's death Skystar had obviously been busy and another deputy had not yet been appointed so patrols hadn't been getting out. It made sense for a new voice to be picking up the responsibility. She padded over to the patrol place in front of Blizzardwind, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws. She blinked at her name called out to lead the Shadowclan border patrol. As the warrior finished up with the assignments, Doeheart dipped her head slightly as she rose to her paws and turned away from the group of cats to set herself apart to await her patrolmates. Fawnbounce was quick to show up but they were still waiting on Littlestag. No biggie, Doeheart wasn't in any sort of rush. She sat back down, her tail resting easily around her legs with the tip twitching lazily.

Spottedpaw raced over to Petuniafire. "Looks like we are on patrol together! Where's Frecklecry?" she didn't mean to be rude, but she didn't know who Frecklecry was.

Lynxfall listened in as Blizzardwind announced the patrols. ‘Patrols, huh? Shouldn’t be too bad. Catching frogs should be like catching the toads back in ShadowClan, right?’ They thought to themselves. Feeling a rush of excitement to do some hunting with some cats he had yet to know, he sat and waited for his assigned team to join him. Although, he had no problem with starting on his own if necessary. He wanted to prove himself to RiverClan somehow, and this is how he was gonna do it. Glancing at the other cats, he saw Snowleap in the crowd. ‘Aww man I’m gonna make him so proud! I can’t wait to tell him how I do!’ He thought licking his chest fur. Looking up at the sky, he took in the nice fresh air with a long sniff. ‘Right, let’s do this!’

despite being a warrior of riverclan, knowing that patrols were a responsibility that every warrior had, brindlefeather still found itself gulping and uneasily padding towards it's patrol when blizzardwind assigned them. a hunting patrol wasn't..too..stressful. not as stressful as a border patrol. it didn't trust itself hunting frogs in front of others (stars, it'd die from embarrassment if it failed), so it would just stick to the fish. "good..morning.." it murmured, glancing at lynxfall for a split second before keeping its gaze on the ground. hopefully, sharkpaw wouldn't take long to show up.

Okay... great. She was called on a patrol. Although Mistypaw couldn't say she was extremely grateful, it was a distraction. "Kitepaw...?" she called, padding over to Blizzardwind and waiting for her fellow apprentice. Maybe it was going to be peaceful, even, going out with her mentor and the cat that called himself her friend.

Okay, this, was, annoying, another patrol as an apprentice, and she was EXTRA annoyed because today was full of minor inconveniences already, she woke up early, got a headache, couldn't groom one goddamn spot on her fur, and to be honest her fur STILL didn't look great! ' 'Alright listen as someone whose been on too many patrols with the suffix of paw, I am not in the mood for any delays on this, so let's go as soon as Oakmember gets here and move on.' ' Making it known to world, I see?

Morninglily could feel Blizzardwind's call - and then Saltpaw's - rattle through her bones as she winced. Her, lead a patrol? How awful was it that they still all saw her as a capable warrior? She willed herself to seem anything more than completely ragged and stepped out of the warrior's den, eyes meeting a very excited apprentice. She couldn't help but flash a sweet smile towards the younger cat.

Despite her reclusive nature since Kestrelstar's death, she hadn't become completely numb. Sometimes she was thankful for that. A lot of the time she was not. Shaking away her conflicting thoughts, she leaned down towards Saltpaw. "Once Blizzardsky comes we can get going, alright?"
