The lithe molly strode back into the clearing after claiming a nest for her own. She lashed her tail and her piercing stare circled the camp before landing on the nursery. Tempted as she was to go visit her son and his litter of maggots, she was sure he had spread all kinds of filthy lies about her being a traitor and a bad mother. She gave up everything for that brat and his siblings. Everything. Her reputation was stained and tarnished because she tried being a good mother and the fiercest of Enforcers at the same times. The pressure didn't break her. The idiots didn't break her. Nothing broke her.
Even after those Twolegs had snatched her up, she remained unbroken. Because dammit, she was Brackenfire and she didn't break. She just took her obstacles and turned them into her own defenses. Settling down into a half-loaf she squinted at those around her. She would have to start rebuilding her status eventually, but unless someone approached her, she wouldn't do a thing. Too tired. Too unwilling.

he/they || 8moons || Agatha Kitty: inactive fluffy brown tom with a stub tail and white chest and muzzle
The day was young and Deerpaw was hungry. He'd only just woken up and his stomach was growling like he'd never eaten before in his life. So with a yawn and a stretch, the fluffy brown tom picked himself up out of his nest and padded into the clearing and over to the fresh-kill pile. Sniffing around, he decided to grab a nice juicy vole before looking around for somewhere to sit. Almost at once, he found Rainypaw, and quickly grabbed a mouse for her as well before finally trotting over to join her. Setting down his burden at her paws he smiled.
"Want something to eat?" He asked with a smile in lieu of a greeting, taking his own spot across from her and giving his chest a quick few licks to tame the mess that his fur had become in his rather fitful sleep.

Smalltail groweled as he spotted Brackenfire. Wasn't that she-cat annoying enough?
Ah, the first hater of the day. The former Enforcer-queen pushed with her front paws into a sitting position, quirking a catbrow at the cat who growled at her. Some nobody who she couldn't really recall ever being remarkable during her time in ShadowClan. "Do I know you?" She quipped coolly, cold yellow gaze panning over him and quickly making note that he was, in fact, nothing to be worried about.

The lithe tabby smirked at him, watching his claws slide out. Her own claws stayed in, because she wasn't a fool, unlike this idiot, evidently. "Oh? And why do you say that?" She kept her tone even, face taking a mocking expression as she spoke like she was talking to a very young child. Entirely unimpressed, because apparently this was the Clan that she wanted to return to so bad. Hopefully Whatshisface wasn't a representation of the average warrior here or she might as well jump back into the Twoleg crate she had escaped from.

Wrinkling her nose as the tom coughed, she made sure she was out of coughing distance. No way this elderly jackass was trying to tell her what to do. Respect your elders, Bracken, was what she was told when she was younger, but this sniveling creature deserved none of her respect. "Ah, I forgot that you knew everything about the circumstances behind my absence. Allow me to correct you, I was taken by Twolegs and spent seven moons in a cage. I'm not complaining, mind you, it gave me time to think."
Looking him up and down, entirely grossed out by this idiotic fool who thought that he could scare her away from the place that was rightfully her home. "I'm going to save us both some time; I'm rightfully here and I don't plan on leaving again, whether you like it or not. I don't care if you want me here, my life doesn't need your stamp of approval, old man." Realizing that her fur had gotten slightly bristled at the last sentence, she forced it flat and settled back into a more comfortable position. She had miraculously been allowed back into the Clan, and she wasn't going to be walked all over. That wasn't the way to start the day, now was it?
