Re: ShadowClan Territory
Blackpaw smiled at Dreampaw, “I say we go hunting, border patrols suck so those I don’t do unless assigned. While we’re out we can disarm a trap or two. How old are you anyway?” He said almost as if making a list. As he asked her the question he turned to her padding out the tunnel.

At least this tom had the ability to properly teach me, that gave him some points. "So, I can crouch... What's next?" He had already forgotten the second half of what he was supposed to be learning. What was it... jumping? Pouncing? Something like that didn't matter the wording but it was something like that.
"I wanna hurry up and catch something, so if we can quicken the pace, that'd be great." Even if his tone was sarcastic, he held a genuine look in his expression. He wanted to be the one to bring food to his mother and the elders he actually cared about, how could they rely on him if he couldn't feed them as well as protect them.

Lightbubble rolled his eyes with a laugh at his apprentice's "nonchalant" answer. "You're welcome for the pointers." He meowed, always the one to remain proper and chivalrous even if others weren't. "Pouncing, which, once you know how to do the crouch correctly, is actually quite easy." The golden tom meowed. He then crouched back down to demonstrate, creeping forward on light paws a few pawsteps, before bunching his muscles and leaping forward, landing quietly and gently on a small fern.
At Littlepaw's need to hurry up though, Lightbubble gave him a small glare. "Learning perfection is not something you can just 'hurry up.'" Lightbubble meowed with a flick of his tail. He then let out a sigh and sat down. "But I suppose if you can stalk and pounce on that fern over there with some decency, I'll let you try it out on some real prey." Lightbubble meowed with a sigh. The things I do for this kid. He thought, shaking his head internally.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
"perha-haps" Nightpaw mew quietly as she made her way back to Frostpaw, halfly in thought. Frostpaw was right, Fallenheart might be close, though not right around the corner either or he likely would've been able to hear her. Her voice wasn't that quiet after all. ..Was it? But there wasn't much to worry about either, or so she told herself; Fallenheart was a warrior, so he should be able to handle himself. Especially if it's just squirrel, right? Yeah.
"ei-either wa-ay w-we sh-ould may-maybe stay around he-here in ca-se he's clo-close " the white apprentice answered as she took another glance around. The warrior seemed to have sort of disappeared at this point, and left an awful amount of broken twigs and crumbled leafs.
"wh-which wo-ould you pre-prefer?" Nightpaw eventually asked as she looked back at Frostpaw. It had been her idea to start walking and hunt something if they encountered prey, so she decided to let the other apprentice chose what he would rather do now, or both. She did still hear some birds, and there were bound to be squirrels around- well maybe not exactly where they were as the animals likely would've fled by now-, though they should still find Fallenheart, wherever he was. Did they even have a solid trail of where he may have gone?

Hailstorm took a deep breath and forced herself to make eye contact with her former apprentice.
"I have always cared, whether you believe me or not," She began, taking great effort to make her voice remain stable. "And I never wanted to 'ditch' you. I just...thought you wanted space. Wanted me to stay away. I didn't want to...overstep. Falcondive, if you need me to reach out to you more, say so. And I will. I want to be here for you." She was terrible with this sort of thing, but she really wanted him to know that she had wanted to be here for him this whole time, but was too terrified to do it. She didn't know how. And now he was paying the price for her inaction.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
@ Splashy @ Mentallyunstable
Beastspark was so so very confused as Frecklepaw rapidly explained himself. So some cats got caught in a silver nest and there was a dog? If it was anything like the problem he just fought off for Whitep - that's right gotta go get Whitepaw.
" If they're still stuck in these... silver nest then they must be wanted for something. So they'll be safe for now." He meowed to himself beckoning Frecklepaw to come with him as he led the way back to Whitepaw. "We'll go and get them, first, help me get to figure out how to get Whitepaw out of here." He had no clue how to open these things and if Frecklepaw got out by pure luck that didn't help him figure out how to deal with the problem when he gathered cats to save them.
"Whitepaw, don't bite that you'll hurt your teeth." The deputy growled sharpy as he returned to find the apprentice trying to breakout. Beastspark was doing his best not to go in a full-blown panic and was doing pretty well besides the fact that he got a little snappy. Padding around the silver thing, Beastspark stops in front of the only part that didn't have the holes in it, assuming it was the door. There were always tricks when it came to twoleg things. Raring up on his back legs, the tom slams his weight into the door, something moved but the slab didn't open...

Re: ShadowClan Territory

It seemed Croakingpaw had decided to leave on his own, so she jerked her head to Dreampaw anf Mudfern and ran immediately out of camp, hoping her bird-brained apprentice would follow. She scanned the ground carefully, alert for any sign of the jaws that Beastspark had pointed out.
Seeing none, she moved to push through a nearby clump of bushes. Her paw landed on something cold and hard, and with a snap something shot up behind her. Bravedawn whipped around with a yelp and, seeing shining bars blocking her exit, swung her head to stare at the other end. No, that was blocked too. How could she not have seen that? How could she have been so STUPID?
As if right on cue, something heavy shook the ground and then she was being swung into the air. Damn Twolegs! Bravedawn threw her weight desperately against the metal mesh, watching with growing panic as the creature carried her through the woods. "Dreampaw! Mudfern!" she shouted. "If you guys are here, run back to camp! Don't get caught up in this too!" Then she was carried out of sight.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
the female quickly followed the warrior out of camp, eager. wow, that was rare; her being eager to do something with bravedawn! wow, she must be coming down with something. that was just unnatural! a few moments later, dreampaw could hear bravedawn's loud screeching from where she stood, but alas, her mentor was too late. seconds earlier, the apprentice had been looking around for some more Jaws & hadn't been paying attention to where she was going, walking right into a big ol silver den that had been hidden behind some lush undergrowth. she hadn't said anything, though, simply prodding the bars that held her in place. "too late!! i'm a goner, ha!" the female yelled back to bravedawn as a tall twoleg came & began to carry dreampaw away as well. wow, this twoleg smelled awful! she & her big silver mess dangled in the air & dreampaw shimmied her legs & butt around, struggling to get comfortable. "yeesh, twolegs have no manners! they should at least let me have a nice place while i'm being stolen from shadowclan! gah, so rude. despicable. dishonorable! grr. byebye bravedawn!!!"

Re: ShadowClan Territory
[ @ Goldwhisker; }
(since she shouldn't leave camp by herself she'll have her biological daughter Ebonypaw take a walk with her and they'll find the kit.)
Citrusflower padded out of the camp, trying her hardest not t trip over her own paws. She did that a lot when she came out into the territory, since it wasn't all that familiar to her like the camp was. Luckily her daughter had joined her in this walk.
~~~
Ebonypaw walked beside her mother, keeping close to make sure nothing bad happened to her. She wouldn't admit it, but she loved her mother a little too much to lose her. Once they got farther out they stopped and Ebonypaw could feel her mothers eyeless gaze on her. She let out a smile, knowing that nobody could see her.
In truth they were surprised they'd even managed to stagger all the way out of camp without tripping over Fennelhaze once again. It was becoming too common of a thing for them. Not that they disliked flopping on top of Fennel with their wonderful body, but it was rather the... getting up again part that was the hard part of everything. Nevertheless they successfully made over to where the frogs where usually located. "Let the squishing begin!" they proclaimed before running headfirst into the mud, and then making a high jump before landing on their belly. Had they squished something? "I got one!" Crushing frogs were such a Driftstep thing to do as well, and the cat flicked their tail happily. It was now completely soaked through in mud but did they care? No. "Feenneeeellll come oonnn!" They wanted to maybe squish Fennel too. That would be fun! "Nneelllleell!" they proclaimed as they jumped back to her. "Come on Nellel!"
Fennelhaze had followed Driftstep out, making sure they stayed upright at least until reaching their destination. It was... a very muddy place! Fennelhaze liked the mud! It felt nice on the fur, and kept the sun from beaming down too hard. There was no time to waste though, Driftstep was already getting ahead by doing their signature flop. That just wouldn't do... she wouldn't let herself be defeated so easily. "Just one second... I've got to... think. Yeah. Thinking! It's tough." The she-cat purred in amusement as she sat for a moment. What would her approach be? How could she crush all of the frogs? Those were tough questions, ones she wasn't sure she could answer. But suddenly... she had an amazing idea... potentially. Fennelhaze didn't quite have the weight to crush things, but she could put a lot of force into her paws. That's exactly what she would do!
"Oh Drifffffft! I've got... the best idea! You won't be able to beat this!!" As she spoke, Fennelhaze leaped into the air, aiming towards a spot in the mud with both of her front paws pressed together, it was all or nothing. Landing with a loud SQUISH, the small she-cat tumbled back into the mud, dirtying her pelt. Not that she mind, in fact, that was a lot of fun! "See Drift? You can't beat that! It's just... too cool!" Meowing snarkily, Fennelhaze laid back in the mud. Again, it just felt so good on the pelt, who could resist?
Re: ShadowClan Territory
Assuming that Fallenheart was at least a half-responsible warrior, he should be able to track them down. With that in mind, Frostpaw responded, "Why don't we head back to our original meeting place. We can start gathering up our buried prey. I feel that Fallenheart will be showing up sooner than later." As he awaited Nightpaw's reply, Frostpaw tried to recall what he knew about Fallenheart. The warrior had recently received his first apprentice, and he seemed fairly relaxed. He seemed like a decent cat, if not lacking in seriousness. Then again, Frostpaw might've been biased - he wasn't exactly happy with the position he was in right now, and it was partially Fallenheart's fault.
Meanwhile, a black tabby pounced through the trees, a bushy, dead, red squirrel between his jaws. He'd finally managed to kill it, but it hadn't come without any repercussions. So caught up in his wild chase, it seemed that he'd managed to, er... lose his apprentices. The ones that he was supposed to be supervising. Oh, how embarrassing. Hopefully they knew their way around the forest already. He didn't want to have accidentally traumatized them or anything.
Fallenheart's ears twitched as he listened for his apprentices' voices, or anything else that could lead him to them. As he scented the air, he felt a bit relieved to smell a mixture of two familiar scents. While the warrior's scent zigzaged throughout the forest, the apprentices' scents were fairly tame. It wouldn't be too long before Fallenheart reached them now.
