"Okay," Cloudwhisker replied. It was good that Webpaw knew a few things already, since swimming and fishing were both important for being in RiverClan. "That sounds good. We can start training after the meeting, if you'd like." He decided to give the apprentice the choice - it seemed to be more free.

Great. He did get an apprentice. The old warrior stood up, and looked around Petuniapaw. There she was. Raising his fluffy silver tail somewhat reluctantly, he nodded to her. "The training isn't going to be easy, I will not baby you." He said shortly, his slate blue eyes passing over her as he tried to determine how much of a lost cause she was.

Eh, he could work with this, a little more enthusiasm than he was used to, though.

It seemed as though the mentors and apprentices were getting along well. Kestrelstar took note of how they all interacted, incase changes needed to be made. For now though, things seemed to be doing well.

"We also have two apprentices who showed great courage and skill in the recent battle," the leader continued, taking a brief pause over the battle part, but not too long that it would call to any cries of disarray. Yes, the raid had been unnecessary but that didn't matter - both of these cats had shown how they were more than ready to receive their warrior names. "I have watched these two quite closely, and I know that they are ready to be welcomed as full and true RiverClan warriors."

Yellow gaze swept over the crowd until he spotted the two cats he was looking for.

"Palepaw [ @Rainquail ] and Brightpaw [ @Angelique ]. Please step forward."

Palepaw is pulled from her thoughts as her name is called for. She stares at Kestrelstar from atop his spot on the Streamstone for a moment, piecing together what she missed. If she was being called forward, that could only mean....
Finally.
She would finally be receiving her warrior name. After all this time, after everything that's been done, she was finally being given the rank she'd been fulfilling the responsibilities for for so long.
She briefly searches the crowd for Brightpaw before she steps forward, skirting past her clanmates to stand closer to the front, not quite daring to pull away from the security she felt to be surrounded by her clanmates.
Perhaps this would be close enough.

Brightpaw heard his name and stepped forward. This was finally it. He was going to be a warrior of Riverclan. He loved this clan with all his heart and had proved his loyalty over and over again. He would continue doing that as a warrior. Brightpaw took one glance at Palepaw abd dipped his head.
