He began to stroke the pencil across the canvas in long, even lines. An image was already coming into his mind, of a beautiful woman, long hair flowing in the breeze, smiling gentle at the veiwer. It took a while, but once he was done drawing, erasing and redrawing, he set the pencil down and looked back up at Cassandra. "Alright," he said, "now what?"

Cassandra smiled as she looked at the sketch- her eye gleamed in awe somewhat before she replied to him gently, picking up the canvas and putting it on the art easel as she did."Well now we get the colours and brushes ready, Oh! Also you might want to put something over your clothes since we wouldn't want to stain your clothes". Her nervousness was melting away somewhat being replaced with excitement even though she wasn't the one about to paint.
Cassandra grabbed a paint pallet before putting small bits of paint blobs on it in different colours but made sure to keep a good distance between each just to make sure they wouldn't mix. She moved around the classroom like a river winding its way through a forest as she grabbed multiple different brushes and she settled all the things she had acquired for Nick down on the table."Okay! Everything is set!". She said softly as her brown hair bounced somewhat and her brownish hazel eyes gleamed.

"Oh, uh..." Nick darted over to a box and pulled out a smock, began to remove his own jacket - and then hesitated. He glanced over at Cass, then down at his belt,
- where the hilts of two knives were just visible - turned toward the wall so the girl wouldn't see them, and quietly slipped the curved blades into his jacket and set the bundle in the box. It's only for defense, but she seems like the type to flip out at the sight of a knife...
He threw the smock over his shirt and walked back over, adopting the grin again, although if one looked closely it appeared just the slightest bit forced. He scooted the brushes and pallet closer as he picked one up, dabbed it in one of the blobs, and began to stroke it across the canvas.

Cassandra smiled as she watched, sitting a little while away from him- although something felt off, she wasn't completely sure what but Nick seemed sort of tense.Cassandra sighed a little, she knew she was probably taking it the wrong way but the brown haired girl was able to pick up on the small things sometimes, most likely due to having precognition as a power. Trying to stop herself from thinking about it she stared at his painting but she couldn't get the idea something was up with him out of her head, her eyes darted to his facial expression at first she felt at ease seeing him with such a bright expression but the more she stared at it the more it seemed unnatural.
Cassandra didn't realise she had been staring at him the whole time and she drew her eyes to the window somewhat before speaking in a low but gentle tone."What are you nervous about Nick?". Her Hazel brown eyes once again made their way to the boy, a intrigued glint in her eyes. She usually wasn't one to pry into others business but she was confused why he was nervous all of a sudden. He had came off as charming and kindhearted but now- he looked like he was forcing on the persona and was a little tense.'Maybe I possibly made him feel uncomfortable knowing I could see his future although I have no control over my powers yet but even if I wanted too I wouldn't be able to'. She thought this but then spoke again."Uh- I apologise if it was me making you feel nervous, if you want me to leave so your alone I'm okay with that doing that". She stood up politely, preparing herself to leave incase he agreed that was the problem although she had this feeling it wasn't the case but nonetheless she looked at him with a perplexed expression.

Nick had finished coloring the woman's skin and was dipping a smaller brush in a blue-green blob of paint to begin on the eyes, but Cassandra's sudden question startled him, and he fumbled the brush before regaining his grip. Uh, whoops... "N-Nothing,"he managed to stammer. "Er… I'm fine, really. It's not you, it's just... this school kind of has me on edge, is all. Been this way from day one." He blinked at her as she stood. "You don't have to leave. I mean, unless you want to..." He glanced down at the have-painted canvas - which looked significantly worse than Cass's drying painting - and put the brush-tip to the place were the woman's eyes would be.

Cassandra blinked before sitting back down feeling a little embarrassed for taking it the wrong way she spoke softly."O-Only if your comfortable with me being here...". She watched as he painted again before she spoke softly."Your painting is looking good- be careful not to mix when using black since it can sometimes mix in with the other colours". Saying this she leaned back on the small couch- it was surprisingly comfortable, her eyes started to close somewhat and this reminded her she hadn't slept at all- feeling the exhaustion return she tried her best not to fall asleep but it felt as if the couch and sunlight were begging her to just sleep. Falling asleep on the couch she slept lightly, a small nap would hurt right?
