The Testing of The Elites

The Calliby tottered down towards where this hoarde of warrior's were. Watching with a deadpanned expression as they splashed and played around in the water. Watching them all wiggle and kick haphazardly made the tom chuckle, a grin forming on his maw as he made his way down to Wormbite. "What in the name of Starclan are they doing? It's not swimming is it?" he asked with an amused tone.

Gentlethunder was still healing from his wounds, but they weren't nearly as bad as they had been. They burned less, and frankly the only thing that itched was his desire to get out of the Camp. So, of course, once he heard all this commotion he had to see what was going on. Even though he was on Camp Arrest...in terms of training and what not. But whatever they were doing, it looked fun.

Turning to give the Warrior a grin, the Grey feline flicked his tail. "Got room for one more? Or am I a little late to this party."

To Wormbite's relief, all the partners met up. Well-- expect for one. Winterbadger. He really didn't care to give the warrior a lecture. "Shadedspire, you're back in. Salmonsong, that's your new partner. Winterbadger, you can take Shadespire's spot in the eliminated, " That really didn't make much sense, huh?

Wormbite wanted to get the second round started so he rose back to his paws until a familiar voice spoke. The tom jumped slightly, turning to look at the blurry figure. Blink. "Oh, " He mewed as Gentlethunder came into his view. Wormbite was pretty sure the tom shouldn't be out of.. "Correct on the latter, however. Feel free to watch with me, " He mewed-- shrugging his shoulders.
Ouch. Probably shouldn't have done that.

Not bothering to allow it to go on any longer, Wormbite turned back to the crowd. ''Now that you've met your partners, follow me, " He mewed-- leading the group to where the second round would take place.

The Sleepy Thicket.

Wormbite came to a halt at the edge of the forest. "Alright, like I said this will be similar to a game of hide and seek. However, you are both the seeker and the hider. As in, " He turned around. ''You will be hiding from your partner while also seeking them. If you haven't realized now, your partner is your target, "

"To be more specific on how this works-- you will enter the forest alone. Apart from your partner. All you have to do is pin them to the ground to win. Claws are .. permitted. Though, keep in mind if you injure your partner badly I will gladly do the same to you, " Wormbite meowed blankly. Seriously. It wasn't even him trying to be.. threatening. He didn't need any bloodthirsty cats on his.. team thing.

Glancing at each single warrior, Wormbite gave a nod. "You may enter whenever you wish, have fun. "

current cats in the tournament: twelve!

how it works: all you have to do is enter the forest alone and find your partner in said forest. confront them, surprise attack them, whatever-- you have to pin them to the ground to win! you and your partner can choose who wins but keep in mind of experience. if your partner is/goes inactive, you automatically win.

Flyfur glanced at Rainydawn. "You ready?"
Once she was given confirmation, she entered Sleepy Thicket with her partner.

Frostflame glanced at owlflight, then sped off into the sleepy thicket. He decided to climb one of the trees; it’d make it easier to pounce on someone below. Did he say that we have to enter the with our partner? He squirmed into a tall clump of grass and lied down, waiting for owlflight to come into view @Hazel Nut

Shadedspire was glad he’d stayed. "Thank you, Wormbite. For the, opportunity." He tried the best he could to be respectful. Nudging his partner, Salmonsomg, he smiled. "Heya, partner." Wormbite spoke again, and he followed the cat. The moment he rralized he was against Salmonsomg, he scooted a touch from her but gave a wink. "Good luck!" He purred before trotting into the woods.

He got a ways in before attempting to mask his scent with some mud. That was what he was supposed to do, right? Well, it wasn’t like he was going to climb a tree. No. He would creep between tree trunks, using his now-dark brown pelt to his advantage. Yellow eyes gleamed, searching for a target.

He would win, he didn’t have any other choice.

Perfect ! Thank starclan Fallenstorm taught him how to blend in with his scenery! Tail swishing happily , hoping his partner wasnt looking. Sootclaw ran off into the forest hopefully at the same time she was.
Out of sight , the tom rubbed himself into the ground trying to get as much dirt on to him as possible . Feeling successfully covered ..or thought . Sootclaw darted into the thick bushes and shrubbery as a way to hide himself.
He stalked his ' prey ' from there. Well....seek Stalked.

Rainydawn nodded for her partner but hung back when Flyfur entered the thicket. She couldn’t enter with her partner when they were supposed to find each other. Instead, Rainydawn slipped into the thicket a few minutes after and moved away to the left. She wanted to be fair about it and not start hunting her partner for a few moments to let Flyfur get situated. It wouldn’t be fair to immediately search for her since Rainydawn had entered the thicket second.

Owlflight scented the air. Ah, Frostflame had decided to hop up in a tree. Why? They weren't ThunderClan cats...No matter. He slid into a bramble bush under him, judging when to climb. @Invisible sandwich

Creekleap creeped into the forest, silent on her paws. She searched for a good spot, covering herself in mud and masking her scent with leaves. She squeezed herself under some tree roots, blended in with the shadows as she hid. She would be hidden into the shadows.. Ready for an ambush. @SilentOwl

...Hide and seek? That was certainly not what he was expecting but he certainly wasn't going to complain. It had been a long time since he last played the kit's game and it was going to be fun.

"Are you ready to be beaten?" he teased Splashfury, a purr rumbling in his throat. As soon as the other warrior was ready he would make his way into the thicket.
