Goldenleaf blinked affectionately at Cricketpaw, surprised at how quickly the young apprentice had taken her out of her misery. She waited for the she-cat to take a bite. Happy once Cricketpaw had eaten some, the female looked down at the mouse. The Queen tore a small mouthful from the huge mouse. Its rich flavors made her relax.
"Cricketleaps the one who told me to give it to you." She said,suddenly rendering.After the Queen took a bite,she took a small bite as well,swallowing.

I'm fine not getting much attention as long as I don't starve to death. Though not having someone to talk to sounds really boring...." She mewed, taking a few breaths in between words.

The tom nodded, taking a pawful of poppy seeds from his store. "Please bite these poppy seeds in half for use with kits and smaller cats."
