Maxwell hissed, seeing all of his three daughters. The oldest hid, Sarah, his wife, complimented Ciara, their youngest daughter. Max looked at their middle daughter. "Selena." he said, standing in front of her, putting his hands on her shoulders. "You are alive. And didn't return as I asked two years ago." He suddenly hugged Selena, tears escaping his eyes, getting to his knees. "Why didn't you come back?" He asked. "I was so worried about you." His voice had pain and sadness in it. He was really crying. Ciara stared at Selena and Max in shock.

"i-i was scared of coming back. ciara almost died trying to save me, because my magic comes from cards. i am the card woman... but ever since... ever since i was six, i always felt like i would never be good enough. my magic was never strong enough to do... anything," she said, tears falling down her face as she returned the hug, tighter then she had ever done before

Ciara stepped up. "Why didn't you ever tell me about what they were doing? I could have helped. Why didn't you ask me for help?" All eyes were on Selena, Maxwell's breath rough and hot.
